@@Lagacy Kabam have a bad habit of discovering quirks of the game that are in the player's favour and changing it real fast. Seatin posted a video about switching NC stance that I used for over a year. The next day Kabam changed how NC worked and you can't change his stance guaranteed anymore by punching the air.

It’s a doubled edged sword. Great when you can do, comes in super handy for champs that can’t be parried on mediums. But sucks when you’re hitting into Things block and he does it to you.
Kabam will mysteriously "fix" this as time goes on and when people notice and they respond as though they didn't know it existed and "try" to restore it. Months later they avoid it and hope we forget. Making a video on it is helpful for people that don't know however it doesn't help it stay in the game.
Lagacy It was never stated to be intentional. Therefore it can be declared a bug whenever kabam wants. Granted this technique helps players, = saves them resources = costs kabam money = its a bug lol.
Kabam is fully aware of the way in which Quake is used when quaking and baking and this is essentially the same thing (parrying a hit that isn’t the first one) except instead of evading the first you’re blocking it. No way it’s a bug. High skill and high risk is all
Ive been doing this since i learned how to normal parry. I think Kabam noticed this was possible and (partly) why changes were made to AI timing because the AI will now also release block and try to evade or attack while in the middle of a “blocking combo”.
I did this already, and liked to call it "block dropping" since you have to let go of the screen, and so dropping your block before you touch the screen again.
Been doing this for a while. Always thought kabam was going to say it's not intended. I like to help people but I never mentioned this to anyone. Thanks for letting people know. Its extremely helpful just be careful against domino
What also works against most champs is to evade the first hit and parry the first light. Like that you won‘t take the block damage of the first medium. IMIW won‘t work, because you get to far away from him by using dexterity, but any other champ who’s stun immune on his first M usually attacks with a parry-able light after the first hit. I‘ve been doing that since they brought that node where the first hit is unstoppable.

I could never keep my left thumb pressed down when taking blocked combos when i first started and would tap the screen along with defenders combos and sometimes this would happen, jave mastered it over the years but this has been around a long time, its a great skill to learn and glad you made a video on it
I started doing it unconsciously a few months ago, probably pissed at the games lag, I started tapping block after the defenders walked through my first parry lol. It's nice however that you mentioned useful applications of the method, and coined a term for it. Hopefully kabam doesn't retaliate by accelerating the game a bit more ahead of schedule 😅... I will thank you mentally from now on when I fight Havoks

I had made a short video of me taking on Ebony Maw on Double Aegis back when node 11 had both heavy and intercept aegis. Used this exact technique it’s a life saver and I wanted to show my alliance mates how to use this to beat, for example IronmanIW with their Dominos! And that one node when the dash attack is unstoppable.

Good vid Lagacy,...Dorky Dave has mentioned this in 1 of his old Ninja Series videos (Parry, Evade or ???) He describes it as kind've tapping back a lil when going to block/parrry so u have better chance to parry on any (1-5) of the Combo hits. Plus it's safer bc if u miss a party, ur still blocking. Good to re-visit though. The "hand cam" would be good to see for quake, ghost, different play styles & evading SPs. Thx

Been doing this lately. Funny thing about parry. I was playing this cool game called infinity blade. Its a sword fighting game and i was hooked. Getting to parry the opponent was kinda tricky but fulfilling. But it was only for ios. I was looking for a similar fighting game for android. Ended up with MCOC. This is the only game i play now lol

Dorky Dave does this except he does it in the corner and evades the first hit then parries the second. His method takes less damage but yours is less risky. I think you can see his on the Quake Vs IMIW tutorial video if you haven't seen it already.
i sometimes end up parrying all hits on stun immune nodes.. already do it pretty decently well and all the time against imiw havok etc... good to spread this info since not many know about it though..

Ive been using this since I was a noob but now I have to learn to parry their first hit, block damage without partying is too high in later content unless u have perfect block chance

Been doing this a lot the last few months because the AI keeps moving fractionally slower than I expect and I get stuck blocking ahead of time (for a parry) all the time.
Would this work for Domino, Yondu, Anihilious and such? Super interesting video. That use case of the opposite of baiting is nice for champs that the SP2 is easier than SP1 - nice job mate, thanks for the shase!
I hate to tel you this bit this isn't new it's just none of the bigger TH-camrs actually use the method especially not the way I usually do it. I thought it was a big if some kind. And I've seen a video recently talking about this made a by a lesser know Tuber. I will see if I can find it and reshare it here

I used this during uncollected EQ against Ebony Maw. I call it Block Fake Parry. Great video as always.

Just put it to use on mighty charge node normally just parry-block and wait to counter but instead waited for 2nd hit to parry.

Make a video on backdraft intercepting I never see a video guide on it but every endgame player does it to maximize the output of damage...
I can do that but not reliably and if I try it during special attacks (useful for sunspot) I die
I did this against Rogue in Variant 3 with Starlord. However, I was doing a first dash for the mighty charge, then parry the next basic hit.
need the AI to be quite aggressive. what do u call hitting opponent block and parry their light attack? my current method nowadays.
