      How crazy was that?! You know you're dealing with a pathetic person when someone can correctly predict that you'll commit an obvious, pointless lie.

      This video was made AFTER trump had already claimed that they were the biggest crowds ever... that's the joke... He predicted it because it already happened. This wasn't an actual report from inauguration day....

    Writing this after Trump has lost his re-election.. It’s incredible how Jonathan saw right through the Trump years and predicted how his presidency will turn out to be... Jonathan should be the next John Stewart or John Oliver; a brilliant comedian and an amazing political interpreter. 👏👏👏

    It blows my mind how satire can be substantially more poignant and ... well, true, than other discourses and dissents.
    I tip my hat to you, Pie - you're doing a great job.

Oh, and presiding over a complete collapse in the NHS that the Red Cross have called a humanitarian disaster as people die in corridors waiting days for beds and at home waiting hours for ambulances. All quite reasonable and not at all embarrassing.

      sotos plays well....yeah, they pretend to be a group for the equal treatment of multiple groups and the end of stigma and generalisation, but half of their videos are "questions (one group of people) have for (another group)" which contain a lot of generalisations. They aren't immune to making good content, they've just recently become even worse, and any video that gets hate they don't learn from, they just keep uploaded and turn off likes and comments

    See, this is still what sets the New Left/Classical Liberals/... anti-PC/true liberal crowd whatever you want to call us apart. We're sympathetic to most Trump supporters, but are still quite capable of calling Trump when he breaks his promises, plays the easily offended game, talks like an idiot etc... Most of his fanbase seems utterly incapable of that.

    • @GingerbreadFetus
      @GingerbreadFetus 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If you break down each side, it's insane just how hypocritical it is though. Here's just one example:
      Allowing someone that you disagree with to speak at a college campus is fascism. And this is politically incorrect.
      Burn the US flag and you apparently belong in prison. But this somehow not politically correct.

    • @HunterMearo
      @HunterMearo 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gingerbread Fetus Okay, I agree with the two points, "leftists" are crazy for not speaking and some stuff that the "right" wants punished is a bit crazy, but the PC part was confusing me, I'm reading it that you're saying both are politically incorrect; is that right?

    • @criticalgeek9187
      @criticalgeek9187 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +Gingerbread Fetus I honestly couldn't give a less of a damn which one is politically (in)correct, point is, if you're a principled lib, you should allow both, no question.

    • @The36th
      @The36th 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No offense, but it still doesn't show You in better light. You're just slightly more mature and reasonable than PCs/SJWs.
      Being sympathetic towards Trump voters doesn’t mean anything, when in actual economic debate You cannot face the truth that full scope of your ideas weren’t introduced in any country and You just can point out many countries that passed some particular social-related bills, but You cannot scientifically prove that all of them at once could work. You can point out Sweden for new “liberal” reforms, You can point out France for few of them or South Korea or Japan, but You cannot give example of any country that introduced full form of socialism and didn’t broke down after some period of time.
      The only country that was close to the ideal left-winged system was Soviet Union after 2nd WW, when they stopped slaughtering their own citizens and it showed that ideas governmental interventionism and “equality” doesn’t work.
      And there is problem of some undeveloped countries from Asia, South America. Those were not already rich and developed countries like France or Sweden, with history of being powerful kingdoms and later powerful capitalistic states. Those states, sometime with aid of USSR, tried to introduce socialism and know in 2017 we are seeing the terrible results of “equality”. Venezuela, Cuba, DPRK, Cambodia, DR Congo, etc.
      Agree, You show “signs of humanity” by feeling sorry for some poor Trump voters, but You also have tendency to go full-mental when You debating someone with actual current and historical economic data in regards to the things I said above.
      “Not-left” people have problem with Left, not only because some of you like PC or are SJW. People have problems with your ideas, because You cannot prove that They work and far-left projects USSR showed completely opposite results to the stuff you claim.

  • @VexWerewolf
    @VexWerewolf 7 ปีที่แล้ว +465

    "Why aren't Trump voters up in arms about this?"
    Because it would mean they'd have to admit not only had their political wing made a serious mistake but they'd also need to admit personal responsibility for it.

    • @link670
      @link670 7 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      Joe Public Y'know you can swear on the internet, mate. Also, don't think that just because you use caps for every other word means we're going to take your points more seriously than you deserve: as in not at all. You come in here and start going on about how we are ignorant of "ALL THE FACTS." Okay. Enlighten me, rather than coming in screaming like a braggard despite your apparent reluctance to say fuck. American media is utter nonsense, yes, but you aren't winning people over to your side by just trying to shout down the opposition.

      I don't trust Alex Jones, but I do believe his guests and associated journalist team. I agree with you that the other media sources are untrustworthy and have been caught making up the news a lot of times.

    • @peterjohn974
      @peterjohn974 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes I wonder if Alex is a disinformation agent. His guests are spot on accurate, but often Alex interrupts them when they are on a roll which throws them off and often when he has a good guest on Alex will not shut up so we have had the guest talk. It is for that reason I don't quite trust him (besides the fact he is a "very obnoxious" man. This does not completely discredit him, but it makes me cautious of him.
      I still fact check EVERY thing he has to say and take it with a grain of salt until I can find facts to prove everything.
      With that said, I do believe his show to be one of the most creditable out there (that does large scale production). There are many smaller "news" outlets out there that are good too. They tend to get a lot of facts that is not heard on main stream media, but often they are late on covering the news because they are spending a lot of time decoding the what is real or not.
      Anyway, I have to run. Nice chatting. I lived over in London for 5 1/2 months back in 1995, and loved it as though it was my home. It used to be a great place to be. I returned in 2000 and it was not the same place that I left. I have not felt the need to return since. Stay informed and stay safe.
      Later.

      You could argue "they have more than 2 options", but let's be real - there was no chance of any of those candidates winning. So people just end up defending their version of lesser of 2 evils.
      But the previous comment was right - no matter how dire it seems, use your vote to challenge power.
      In my country, I keep voting for a party that has no chance of winning elections at this stage, but is constantly gaining higher and higher percentages, and thus more representatives. More people should realize that they have to speak up regarding their political stances if they aren't the mainstream, because many indecisive voters just don't know that there are small parties that they would vote for.

    • @joelboone1751
      @joelboone1751 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Absolutely right! Don't the voters know that they have the right to vote for a third party candidate by simply writing in the name? That's what I did in 2014 and in two elections previously.

      Julius Caesar a blame both you fuckers for the shit we are in. Oh why? You mane he's to give the win to a man (Trump) who wants to silence free speech because protesters hurt his feelings. And then Hillary, A shill of a politician that gave Russia a third of our uranium (and you dumbasses wanted her instead of Bernie) Whom essentially gave Russia more nuclear capability than us! in the process.
      You've both (democrat and republican) allowed Rogue corporations like amazon to avoid taxes, while creating they're own tax systems in place, to fuck over consumers with no shits given, because fuck if these politicians care as long as money is envolved.
      And on top of that bullshit, you both have managed to fuck us over harder than any political scandal could in U.S. history with the debt we are in from all the unnecessary wars your fucktarded, brown nosed politicians have put us in.
      And the worst offense of all is: you are to blame for trumps presidency, cause you could put down the fucking blame game down long enough to give an impactful reason for a democratic win.
      You motherfuckers only have yourself's to blame for this ever snowballing shitcluster.

    'Why aren't Trump voters up in arms about this?'
    because they want jobs. Under Obama the entire economy has shifted to low-wage, part-time jobs. Apparently 80%+ of new jobs under his term were part-time. This is the main concern in the US now (economy), and certain other concerns are connected to it (immigration, energy)

    • @crabyman3555

    • @ADGO
      @ADGO 7 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      people have taken a chance that he will bring back jobs, rather than voting to stay on the same course of losing them (Clinton). It's pretty simple. You're assuming he won't do it. No one knows right now.

    • @BakaHoushi
      @BakaHoushi 7 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      You know, I can 100% get behind that sentiment.

    • @LordKnightcon
      @LordKnightcon 7 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Lots of people know he won't do it. Because those are the people that know exactly what caused those jobs to disappear in the first place.
      50 years ago the largest private sector employer in the United States was General Motors. It's factory level employees made an average of $40 US per hour in today's money, and had great health benefits and retirement packages to go with it.
      Those were not skilled labor jobs. They were folks working a post on a factory assembly line. Simple, blindly repetitive manufacturing jobs that disappeared because of automation. They vanished because robots had reached a point where they could perform simple labor just as well as a human could, and they were cheaper. Automation is the inevitable route that every company will take once it reaches the point where it can perform equally as well as a human being. People whine constantly that the The United States does make anything today which is patently false. The country has a massive manufacturing infrastructure, it's just not making household items any more. That's why you don't see anything around you with "Made in the U.S.A" stamped on it. They make jumbo jets and industrial supercomputers, not toaster ovens and televisions. And if Trump voters wanted to be mad at anyone for that, they should be mad at the robots.
      Today the largest private sector employer in the country is Wal-Mart, who's employees make an average of $8.75 per hour in today's money, and most of whom do not work enough hours in the week to qualify for health benefits.
      What is Trump going to do about that?
      Is he going to *make* companies like Wal-Mart offer their employees living wages and social benefits? Because that sounds like the opposite of conservative dogma to me. So what is he going to do?
      Seriously. I want an answer.

    • @BeeepBo0op
      @BeeepBo0op 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      ADGO if 80% of new jobs were part time, you would see that in the unemployment rate. If you look at U3 unemployment (a.k.a the "official" unemployment rate), which measures full time employment, you would see that it has gone down to basically pre-recession levels at 4.9%. The sort of work Trump says he'll bring back are low-paying manufacturing jobs, which inevitably will lose to automation at a faster and faster pace as the years continue. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that doed not seem like sustainable labour policy to me
