I find that spinning up a hill is way more exhausting then low cadence. My heart rate shoots up way to fast on really steep climbs. Maybe slowing the cadence down a little and using more muscle groups will work. Thanks for the vid

Theres 1 hill that .4 tenths, 5-6 grad, of a mile that takes me 2 minutes to climb which will be perfect. It just not being lazy to drive over there. I normal do 30/30 in and out of saddle, 6 reps

Do you recommend just staying on the saddle or getting off once in a while off the saddle for low cadence, high power hill climbs? I’m naturally a sprinter and I have a tendency to get off the saddle very often.
Yup agreed but it depends on the individu himself as some people prefer to off saddle all the way up, rather than cadence. Also some people will get off sadle to release some tense on the muscle when you are doing hi cadence, and by off sadle it release and help other muscle to work while giving other muscle to rest before continue with hi cadence again

I think from other readings ive read is that sitting on the saddle is more of a "workout". helps your core more. I could be wrong.

Depends on the rider sir. As long as the gradient will not make u ride a very slow cadence. If u can maintain 55-65 cadence, thats best
