Riiiiiiiiiiight?! But for me it feels weird, as all these years I've seen only channels with intros 🤣🤣🤣, he's the only one that doesn't do it from the channels I'm subscribed to
what i love about your video is the way you immediately start recording the main events (cooking recipes, etc) without unnecessary openings! and also, one of the few content creators that i make me sit with their over 45 minutes length videos
The best part of Raphael's videos that I love most and keeps bringing me back to watch is that he doesn't switch 100 frames per second. It's just him inside of his kitchen. (I can actually focus on what's happening) so I thank you, even though he will never see this.
Watching raphael make roti was 😍 You are right, Raphael. The second recipe is indeed how Pakistani/Indian/Bangladeshi roti (flatbread) ia made. We make it daily! Its a staple in our Pakistani home ❤
I’ve been making the bagels for years and my whole family loves them. Definitely needed more flour but each bagel is 100 calories and 20g of protein so they are great if on a diet. I also make my own self rising flour to make it cheaper.
If you want to try a 3 ingredient recipe…peanut butter cookies….1 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 cup peanut butter. Mix together and refrigerate for an hour. Roll and place on cookie sheet. I put in a 350 oven for about 10 minutes but I always eyeball them to see when they’re done. They are sooooooo good!
For everyone in the comments talking about the second recipe being roti or tortillas, that was Khobez Saj خبز صاج or Shrak شراك (khobez خبز meaning bread, Saj صاج meaning the type of metal pan used to cook the dough on). This is a very common bread in the Middle East. The pan is basically an upside-down wok. And is what you'd usually get your shawarmeh wrapped in. When made at home they are smaller because they are made in a simple pan. However, the ones we buy from a bakery are quite larger. And where I am from it is very common to see these being made right infront of you in the market. I'm just making the clarifications because the content curator fearured is a Jordanian and was referencing sth very significant in her video with the flag on display. And this is also to say, bread is bread, no matter how far apart we all are geographically. When it comes to basic human traditions we actually share a lot. ❤ to all.
If your milk was ultra pasteurized then it won't work to make cheese. Also, I couldn't tell what type of vinegar you were using but white vinegar generally works the best. Hopefully this will help!
In order to make a full puffed up roti(flat bread) u need to cook it on low flam once change color flip it keep cooking it on low flame than cook it on high flame and it will puff beautifully.. being a pakistani housewife its in our everyday routine.. lunch and dinner
You had to boil milk with vinegar (or lemon juice) till no more curds are forming 😊 you can see separated clear yellow water and big white lumps of cheese
Yay!!! Was so excited to see you in my notifications. I had to wait until I was home from work to watch. And then I seen it was an hour long video. I love your long videos! Much love Rapha
I fully expected all of these recipes to be trash, but you are always entertaining, so I clicked. After your enthusiastic review of the Nutella cookies, I was intrigued. I made them while continuing to watch your video. Definitely not the best cookies, but would be good in a pinch. Which is the point, I guess. I did cheat and sprinkle a bit of Fleur de Sel on top because they were screaming for salt. Caution: these are for serious chocolate lovers. I ate two and hit a wall because I am an amateur. My chocolate needs for the next week have been met.
For the flatbread things, I love them. My friend has Pakistani parents and when I went to their house one time, they made me dinner and I got one of those. They were so nice. I loved seeing them puff up
I literally just wait every single day for his videos . His videos are just literally the best time consuming and love love love it to be 1 hour long video . Its been like years i have been watching him . 😄
my mom make this bread all the time a bit of yogurt, butter, sesame or black seeds its yummy here is some tips make them a bit thicker cook them on high heat once the dough is flipable flip it and the bubbles will start forming press on them with a spatula to diffuse the air in the hole thing then complete its cooking on both sides if you want it to be so soft stack them and cover with a towel immediatly after cooking
You make crepes with a bottom of the spoon technique that we use making Indian crepe “Dosa”. And you make it perfect ..only thing dosa is made with rice flour and water fermented overnight then made 😊
The one ingredient yoghurt cheese is the best (Lebne). You can make cottage/ricotta cheese with milk & lemon juice (or vinegar) You really have to let it strain though
Does it matter how much fat the milk has? Would low fat milk work just as good? I'm asking bc I suspect he failed bc the milk had too little fat in it. But I've never tried it myself. I've only made butter with the cream you make whipped cream with. Not sure what it's called in English.
It has to be full fat. I've also read that A2 milk is better due to the type of proteins, and he had the right ideas with smaller strainer but cheesecloth is better. I've made it with my grade 1 class so it's not difficult!!!
Congrats on 2 million subs Raphael! Love your channel. I cannot quit looking at how amazing your skin looks! What do you use? Please tell me. Looks amazing!

I totally tried the Nutella cookie hack except I use Kraft chocolate hazelnut spread. (Kraft spread is palm oil free) O M G! I am making these all the time. The only change I have to make is the microwave time. One minute in my micro burns them. Next time I will try 45 seconds. They are so delicious!
Not sure because I couldn't see what you were doing but perhaps you didn't use the correct milk? you need to use full cream milk...adding extra cream is good too because it is the fat that turns into cheese, if you can find milk that is not homogenized it works better.
