I doubt anyone will ever see this. But what makes this funny is that typhon trying to hide some big dark secret makes them seem less evil than if they just didn’t want to delay it by a little bit.
It may be hard to believe they could cover up so many deaths but this game gives us rookie numbers versus real mining company disasters and the cover up/retributive murders they spurred on. Not unprecedented for 10, 20, 50, 100 people to die at once. Recommend the documentary Harlan County, USA.
My take on the way the ending goes is that they wanted Jed to be considered a serious treat and didn’t know anything about what was in the cave and how to make Jed hurt Alex and they improvised without considering the consequences They liked the idea of the gun scene (without considering the consequences that’s why the wounds taken by Alex are barely mentioned as if she just took a few punches) They liked the idea of a final confrontation but they didn’t thought about how unreasonable is the idea Alex throw herself in a mine and made all the accusations up (and how idiotic is the idea there is no evidence despite those two going out when people were still out there and the fact Alex was shot directly and therefore had a bullet in her body) Those things are not taken into consideration because the writers either thought weren’t that important (that people wouldn’t mind) or they were so focused on the whole final confrontation they didn’t think about it at all. It’s like with Ace attorney rise from the ashes and the “there wasn’t any evidence for Darke” At the same time I think although they went around in circles a bit too much this game does have a point it’s just not well executed, you were meant to face hardships, past traumas and bond with people to reach a point where the community fights against its worst part. To me that’s a very interesting concept and if you rewrite some parts it’s a very enjoyable simple story and an interesting take on the “superpowers” thing (which here is a strange symptom of a person having psychological disorders)
I cannot believe Joe has never heard Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon before?? It's pretty much ingrained in uk party culture at this point. Never been on a night out where it hasn't played. There's sheltered and then there's full on underground nuclear bunker-ed goddamn.
Honestly, never really understood the Persona 3 Portable complaints. It really isn't even close to being an inferior version of Persona 3. I also think making the overworld into 2D wasn't even that bad of a decision since the overworld is already pretty small and it just made navigating it even faster. Plus, Portable did add Skill Cards and a way to duplicate them, removed the jealousy mechanic from the female Social Links and made it so you can actually control your party. And if we look at past "Remasters", Atlus will definitely allow you to choose the Skills your Persona has this time around instead of it being random like it was in all of the Persona 3 versions (kind of like they did with the SMT 3 HD Remaster). The main weird decision is the exclusion of the animated cutscenes and, if you care, The Answers from Persona 3 FES. However, I don't think it's confirmed yet if the Steam version ("Remaster") will have them (although someone will probably mod them in if they aren't included).
TRUE. Portable has more content if you don't count FES. Which I don't. Since FES is "play for 10 hours realize it's just a harder Tartarus and your reward is story scenes neatly catagorized on TH-cam and you decide to do that instead"
@@girlchildrevoIution Psychonauts 2 won 0 awards. That point was rattling around in my brain because this game is just Psychonauts but without the platforming and the sharp writing and the fun.
The fucking finale scene in the bar is agonizing. I enjoyed TC a lot more than Joe did overall but holy shit, what a *_terrible_* scene. Every second, every line of dialogue, was utterly excruciating. So horrible.

1:04:27 can't wrap my mind around the fact that the game has a character by the name of Anderson who does the same joke as Joe did

Joe's a hermit, it's possible he didn't party much when back in the UK. I'm from the UK and I'd never heard of it either, at least not by name. :P
Didn’t he say he grew up in Canada?

Keep on keeping on!
4:20:59 we live in a strange society...
What is those stupid songs Joe plays whenever there's copyright music?
life is strange, consistantly missing
I hated Alex more and more with every episode. Didn't think that would be possible.
