We came up with this routine in a day, and we were heavily inspired by the routine, Skratch Bastid and Hedspin did in the playlist retreat 2017.
We wanted to sorta emulate that but also bring our own flavor in the set, and in the end, we accomplished just that. It took some time to iron out the details of the set, and it took a longer time to actually shoot this take, so we hope you guys appreciate all the effort we put in making this quick video for you!
It's a dream come true to do this routine with my idol, DJ Byte. I can't believe it actually happened!
DJ Byte heavily inspired my DJ routine back in 2014. I remember watching his routines over and over again, thinking of how he would break down songs and reconstruct them to make them his own.
His talent, passion, and love for music is unmatched and seeing him do his thing is just so inspiring.
I wouldn't be the DJ I am now, without his influence, and I am so grateful to have met and hung out with him during his short stay in the Philippines 🇵🇭
