Thanks it worked on my 04. I programed 2 keys the second one didn't want to work. On the last step I cycled the ignition on/off two times and removed the master key and it did work.
I followed the instructions from eBay lock smith but did not work. They have different instructions. Found you on TH-cam and work like a charm. However, it only seems to take two remote. Thank you so much for your awesome info video. I actually found error on the description that you wrote. Before put the key on On position, you forgot to list close the door. Your video has it. Thanks again! Two thumbs up!!!
Much appreciated. The reason it only took two is likely to be that our vehicles can only take up to 5 keys, most likely you had 3 already in the memory leaving room for only 2 more. There's a way to erase all of them from the memory and only the master key will be stored, then you can add another 4.
@@CristianAPrimoATM I have to say that doesn't apply at least my GX. Perhaps depends on the year.. mine is 2006. I have one master factory key and lost two others. I ordered two remote from eBay seller. After program the two new keys for immobilizer and remote function, my existing key is no longer working. It still can start the engine but remote function is no longer working. My theory at this point is my 2006 only takes two the most. Anyway, you saved my day yesterday. Really appreciate your help.
I've done two keys now using this video. For me what worked best was only pressing and holding the two buttons (lock and unlock) for about a half a second, release and wait a half a second, then press and hold the lock button for 2 seconds, and release. Thanks!
1/2 second worked for me , too after 2 failed attempts. The guy at Ace Hardware that programed the new key spent a half an hour with tech support trying to get it to work and couldn’t. We were just planning on using the new key as a spare because the buttons didn’t work. Now they do! Thanks!

The link for 1010 keys in the video description takes me to their eBay store but the keys they sell for my 05’ gx470 say in the product description that I need to also purchase a programming device from them in order to program. Is this a new thing since the time this video was made or am I missing something?
The program of the key of my 2004 GX470 was behaving strangely. As soon as I replaced the the battery, the windows came down and it messed up the functions of my other key. I had to take the battery out so my other key will function properly. So I cannot program the key as instructed. Any suggestions?
I heard that on previous models (GX) this may not work as the 2005 has additional electronics (Bluetooth) and a more powerful engine with maybe a different MODULE.
Same here. I was able to program the keys from his other video successfully but can’t program the remote. The doors won’t cycle after the step where you turn on/off the ignition and remove the key

Also make sure you have the master key that was registered as a Master key in the system. I dont have any other suggestions as of now, if any you do succeed please let us know here. Appreciated.
At the dealer if you lost your master key. Can't think of a different place right now. To program the remote and chip as far as I know you'll need the master key that is programmed in the car's computer to allow more keys to be added. You try to see if works by using the spare to program but you will still need the master key code # to make a master copy. That also can be found behind the door key cylinder somewhere from what I read online. If you want to get just another complete set of keys and have it cut as well go to 1010keys on eBay, I got mine that looks very close to the original and works great.

I recently purchased a 2006 GX470 and they said that the original owner lost both masters but had the valet key. But I’ll prob go back to the dealer to get that OEM Original Master and then come back to this video to reprogram the rest. TY so much
@@AlxValentino They might have to do all the programing as well. You'll be better of getting everything done at the dealer, if something goes wrong later on programming you are on your own again. Ask them to clear all the old keys from the memory and re install those that you have. The vehicle only accepts about 5 keys in the memory and you don't know its past. Later go to 1010Key, buy another key and program it your self so you dont have to go at the dealer again to get a complete new key made in case you loose one of them.
