Thanks for the tips! So many vids focus on what the "best" routes are, but when there are routes that give you most of the damage for way less effort I think that's way more practical and interesting. Wish more people would include those sorts of "almost as optimal but way easier" examples. Speaking of, for that combo at the end where you start with OD Burn Knuckle and end with Triple Geyser, you can replace the Medium Crackshoot > OD Quick Burn with just an OD Burn Knuckle for 6426 damage instead of 6488. It's only one step, but if you're like me and find timing the OD Quick burn a little tough (especially since you can't spam its input or you'll get level 2) it's a bit more consistent.
I have a hard time doing lvl 3 instead of the triple geyser meter dump. If i dont have the drive gauge, for me it is easier doing HP xx Heavy shoulder, EX power wave then DR HK immediately then DR cr.HP xx round wave into lvl 3 and does 5073 dmg.
Loving the vids. New subscriber 👍. Have you thought about using the juggle point after the second geyser instead of burning all 3 bars to check for max damage without 3 meters?
@@ZachHenke I was seeing pretty easy 5k+ combos with it. You have to delay the 2nd blast mid screen and drive rush to combo off it and in the corner you can mash it and get h.tackle
Quick question for you! Do you think Terry and Marisa have things in common? I only played these two for now, and somehow I feel like they clicked on me real quick compared to Ed or Manon which I tried out as well. Love your guides BTW! You helped me a good bunch with Marisa, can't wait for the next Terry videos as well c:
The major similarity I think is that they both have very straightforward ways to play. Terry can do the whole fireball and DP thing, and if he wants to approach burn knuckle works well. Overall I don’t think they have a ton in common, though.
@@ZachHenke Makes sense, despite the good amount of pressure options, his movement and damage differs from hers I do think one of his winning animations is similar to one of hers though X)
I found a foolproof easy route to dump both drive and super meter that works anywhere on the screen. St. MP > OD burn knuckle > lvl 2 super with both follow ups Deals over 5000 dmg, around 5350~ish IIRC, (thanks to négligeable scaling) while being much simpler of a route and also being easier to initiate since I often find myself failing to connect st.HP with whiffed DPs at a distance The caveat being that it's only good if you want to spend the lvl 2 with follow-ups, otherwise it deals poor damage
Sorry this is incomplete info but I started messing around with heavy kick punish counter on whiff dp and either doing od knuckle level 2 dump or medium power charge level 2. Some other variations off the heavy kick as well depending on drive gauge available but all were over 5k which is great to have so easily as you point out. For me having access to that damage with like half drive gauge ina variety of positions feels so crucial
I don’t have many of my matches. I do have a series where I analyze other people’s matches. The only matches of mine in a video is one on overcoming salt. Otherwise old livestreams are usually me doing match analysis.
@@JustCoffeeThankYou It’s a nonzero chance. I don’t play that much right now to be honest. Most of the time I have available for it is used to make content.
Thanks for your tutorials, I think I would just practice some simple combo of terry first I may never try to optimize this character, he is fun to play But right now I think his performance don't worth so many effort ye just pick the combo easier to execute, keep him simple stupid as possible, should be good enough before 1900mr
It might never be worth it to fully optimize him either in the sense that it might not lead to winning rounds in fewer interactions. His best routes don’t seem to do that much more damage than what I would consider good routes.
Love how you start immediately. Awesome video.
Thank you! Glad is was useful.
Quick and useful video, thanks. Terry tech is awesome.
Howdy. And neato. Gotta get back to see what terry is all about.
At the very least he’s got some stuff that’s fun to mess around with.

Always coming in clutch with the knowledge!

nice vid, thanks I never knew I could do that with lv2 in the corner. Fireball spam just look so cool though lol
An aspect I didn’t explore is super meter build. I’d be willing to bet that the longer loops with round wave probably build more bar.
Howdy! 🤠 thanks for the tech once again sir!
Absolutely. He’s fun to just mess around with.

I haven’t looked at that at all. Definitely a good idea

Nice videos bro I've also been uploading terry tech, the character is super fun. Wish you success!

Hello Zach, do you also post Marisa matches to view somewhere? I am a new SF6 player and I like her the most.

could you make another video in a slower pace?? would be cool 😊
I have plans to do a video that goes over more of his combo routes in general, and that video will definitely be a little bit slower.
