great ship build 10/10 my only complaint is the location of the captains quarters it should be switched where the workshop is. Probably gunna make this ship build on one of my characters
You can get the Slayton engines at Neon, Akila City, and the Stroud-Ecklund Staryard in my personal experience. There might be more places but those are the only ones I know of. Also, to make building more fluid, you don't need to click on a part to delete it, you can just hover over it and hit the delete key and to copy parts to the other side faster, use ctrl+g when hoving over a part and then use z to flip it around
This guide was so straightforward and easy to follow, I managed to build my own version of this ship, with a few modifications ofcourse. Just wanted to say thanks a lot, and you have earned my sub and comment(don't like commenting).
I have a very similar design. More rounded and smooth(so less diemos parts) but same layout, same weapons, engines, etc. My solution for fuel was the big round fuel tanks that look like half a jet engine intake. I put them on the inside of each wing and it looks like a fighter jet now. 😁 And it has a ton of jump range as a result.
Hey a quick suggestion - pretty sure Deimos has cargo holds that look like the inverted/underbelly slopes. That'd be a great place to put a cargo holds and leave space for different fuel tanks
Little bit of info to make you harder to kill. Enemies are programmed to shoot in the middle section of your ship, if you place reactor and grav drive out of the center portion youll take far less damage
For anyone trying to get the Firebolt 4000 Suppressor weapons, you have to be level 30-31 I believe. I was trying to build these at level 25 with no luck. But once I hit 31 I checked again and they are at almost every ship technician after that.
VERY similar to my P1NC3R design except I made the "wings" look like huge guns. Demios have the best looking parts. Upgraded mine to class C, its an absolute beast. An no ladders!
Outstanding. Due to my recent purchase of a vista, I was very low on credits so I’ve had to construct this little bits at a time. Love the look. I’m probably eventually going to make some adjustments but we’ll see how that turns out. I would love to run this thing with the cockpit that has stairs in it, but that may be a no go. I’m also thinking I can add one more habitation making it a little bit longer. I am a big fan of big crews. Although for makes this thing a little tight, I don’t know. I don’t wanna mess with it too much because it looks freaking awesome. But maybe just making it a little bigger. Overall keeping the same ratio just a little bigger. I don’t know, but there were two bills. I wanted to try this one and the other dude. Yours looks so cool though. I’m still working on finishing it because I’m always broke. Lol. Anyway great video. Thanks.
Nice ship indeed, but from a practical standpoint, I would swap the work shop and captains room with each other.... why? Because if the captain is resting, he doesn't want random crew transiting his room while going to the work shop... right?
The way door system setup in the game crab builds are functionally the best. Trying to make Federation Corvette from Elite, it's nightmare, but I can fiddle with insides quite a bit doing tricky connectors instead of lumping habs together to make it feel more interesting inside. On side note Krait II from Elite is also pretty cool if anyone need ideas.
Not bad. Sleek but powerful. Would love to see an upsized version of this with 2+ deck levels. And a little wider for a bigger crew and more varied interior space. This one is still quite spartan inside.

I don’t know whether to be annoyed or happy - this was pretty much the exact idea of the ship I wanted to build in my head😭 I won’t feel as creative when building it tomorrow now
Funny.. I just found this while imagining a build I wanted that would be a twin-hull design... but the language used lets me know I still have a lot to learn.
@@ColorsFadeGaming I made this design into a Class C ship and it now has 29ly range but still 100 movement :). I added a C class reactor where in your design the class B reactor and class B Gravdrive were. I then extended behind that reactor to add a class C grav drive and a same size fuel tank below that (i think it was the second fuel tank right the one below what you chose for your design). So it is a bit longer but the Deimos end tails do shield it a bit and locks quite good in my opinion. Another advantage: Bigger guns and more powerful shield. I use class C PB-300 weapons i think they are called (just a bigger version of your class B) and i have now 1600 Shield :D.
Ship building is the best part of the game. I wish the rest of the game wasn't a worse version of previous bethesda systems. I was happy to see they'd used some modder's additions to previous titles to improve some of the bethesda clunkiness. Probably the best third-person system they've made, and better looting UI, for example.
The settlement building also was the best part of FO4. The ship is practically the mobile home base of the player. But the settlement builder in FO4 needed a couple years worth of DLCs and a metric fu*kton of mods to really shine and unleash its full potential. Best to simply see every feature of Starfield at the current state just as a basic foundation to improve upon. But the basics at least seem solid. As with every Bethesda game, modders gotta finish it.
I don't really get the point of having all those weapon "slots" if you only have 24 equip power. If you power up the shields and use any towards engines you can only equip one set of weapons at a time(fully). As you have it now if you tried to power your missiles and lasers you wouldn't have anything left(12 equip max per slot). Do you just use the lasers or just the missiles at a time or only power them halfway?
In the end, I took the missiles off, because as you say, you simply don't have enough power for everything. Now, that can changer at later levels if you invest skill points in Aneutronic Fusion (Science Tree) as it can add up to 5 more Reactor power points. So later on, with C-Class reactors and that skill, you can power more weapons. However, at this level, it's best just to get some kind of laser or pulse laser that does equal damage to shields and hull, with a power of 3 so you can group 4 of them together and fire them all at once. I've been able to do massive damage that way. I still encourage folks to have EM weapons for captures, but you don't need to have those powered until the moment you intend to use them.
I have a problem with this ship design, i changed some weapons for the vanguard version and the shield also, making it much better but for some reason it is SLOW, like even with half power to the engines like in your video it gets to 45 speed and no more, any reason why?
If you use the Star Eagle as a base, you can makeover the whole thing for about $20K. I do it in my Let's Play series. You can see that transformation here: th-cam.com/video/76fy7H9PpkM/w-d-xo.html
@@albertcollins6317Oh, damn, sorry mate. Yeah, it's on a release schedule and won't be public for a couple weeks. Well, lemme give you the rundown: If you use the Star Eagle as the base ship, and simply delete all parts from the Star Eagle and start building this ship, and make sure you use the Star Eagle's pieces (weapons, engines, shield, reactor, grav drive) then the total cost to build it comes out around $20K. It's not much. And that's because the most expensive parts are already on the Star Eagle - the engines, weapons, reactor, and grav drive.
Ok this is prolly a stupid question, but you’re building it and while you’re building it you mention having to go to a particular place and get that part. How do you do that if you’re building a ship at a particular location? Can you purchase something and it be added to your cargo? If so, how is that done? Also, fantastic Tutorial man. Very well made and ship looks sick!
No, you can't purchase parts and put them in cargo. If you follow the tutorial exactly you'll see what I do. Example: the landing gear. At my base, I don't have access to the Deimos landing gear/thrusters that I want to use. So, I use a different set of landing gear (bigger, blocky) and then when I have the ship built to a certain point (flyable) I then leave my base and physically fly to the Deimos shipyard where I then remove those blocky landing gear and replace them with the Deimos ones. So the ship is built in three stages. First stage, at my own landing pad at an outpost, I build the ship 90% the way it should be and it is flyable at that point. Then for the 2nd and 3rd stages, I fly to Akila and the Deimos shipyard, and swap out the parts that need to be replaced. Hope that makes sense.

What i don't like. There is no benefit of adding structural modules solely for customization and looks... it just adds mass soo u have negative impact when u want to express urself. That sucks so much. Adding to hull would be nice

Yeah, I hate 'em too. If so, you could swap those decorative parts for fuel tanks that look exactly the same, in the same spot. I haven't got around to trying it yet.
