- Such an insanely cool and VERY underrated mod, I really hope it'll get more traction, because the entire idea is sooo cool!! Love the I Hate You creepypasta and that ending screen at the end of it was one of the coolest looking things ever, I was definitely one of those people back then that didn't catch that it was supposed to be a purposefully bad creepypasta, so I still have very fond memories of it! Using that end screen as a mod with Mario and Luigi is the coolest thing ever, I loved the concept already, but the execution was even better! The sprites look amazing, that silhouette of Peach crying in the background looks amazing and both Mario's and Luigi's sprites are super well made, pretty damn creepy and very nice looking! The song itself was soooo good too, I love the slower vibe it has and all the motifs it uses, it was such a nice listen! I really hope to see more mods about that creepypasta in the future, I feel like there's a ton of things you can do with it! Hope you guys enjoy!

This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. i like how the feel of this song is more somber, slow, and conclusive, because the story is already over. it really sells the feel of a "game over", an ending.
It even has Super Mario world game over sound in it you can get the feels that the brotherly hood is over

There’s something so tear jerking about this song, I’m not sure what it is, but if I had to guess, it’s the context. I have a brother and I love him dearly, we argue sometimes and that sometimes holds a bit of tension for a bit but we always make up. Even if you don’t have a brother, I’m sure you have that one friend who’s like a brother to you.
The idea of your brother one day just wanting you gone forever is scary, or maybe that brother is you, and you want them gone forever. Wether it’s because of jealousy, something to gain, or whatever reason it is. It’s scary to think about that one person you loved so dearly always hated you.
“I hate you. I hate you so much.” Hearing those words come from my brother would destroy me, and I’m sure you can relate you, the song is this perfect mix of depressing and calming, its exactly what a quarrel is like. It’s not full of anger, screaming. It’s two people who don’t love each other anymore who want nothing to do with each other anymore.
And that’s the scariest part of I Hate You.

I also can't imagine my brother saying "I HATE YOU." cause if it did happen, I would probably be depressed already. We sure do argue and fight, but we help each other. As Gabriel stated (another person who replied), when my mom and dad die, my only brother will stay alive, and it will be the only person I could have fun with.

Okay wow, this was actually amazing. You can really feel like the sense of like hatred in sadness in the song, especially with the game over theme playing in the instrumental. You can really just feel just like the emotions of two brothers cutting ties with each other. But anyways, yeah, I really enjoyed this mod and it might be my new favorite, 10/10

It always impressed me Luigi still spits bars as hot as lava despite him having his vocal cords probably burned.
Not to mention how he somehow keeps his mustache and hair, despite his entire face being burned off.

This hurts so much to watch. Luigi's seemingly near genuine yet still unexplained anger. The constant leitmotifs of the Mario World OST (Specifically the very fitting game over theme). And Luigi's final line. I want to cry; I feel so bad watching this for both bros.

If anyone was wondering. They actually use the ending music from super Mario world as part of the instrumental. This mod has so many throw backs in it. . I also love the fact you play as Luigi,insinuating that Mario was the enemy or aggressor in this story. Mario had nothing to gain from kicking Luigi into the lava,Luigis anger seems more justified in this mod.

In the actual story Mario accidentally pushes Luigi into lava and begins crying after realizing what happened. And it's been confirmed that Luigi was a sociopath from the start and wanted Mario dead since the beginning, so purposefully hid in his shadow.

Being the youngest in my family there were a lot of people who preferred my brother over me and that could build up some if any resentment. Mario was always the main character, the older brother that others recognized and respected while Luigi sat in the shadows. Thankfully the real Mario Bros are a team and Luigi in actually very popular among a lot of Mario brothers fans.

There is something I need to say. This are the old vocals, which are from Mario’s Madness. The creator of Mario’s Madness doesn’t allow the chromatics to be used in other mods. And thus, the vocals were changed to the SMB Funk Mix vocals.
Actually the vocals were changed back because Kenny, the guy who gave out the chromatics, said it was ok in the comments of the vid with the SMB Funk Mix vocals, the MM vocals were added back into the mod alongside the funk mix vocals.

The feeling of being betrayed Mario feels towards Luigi his own brother for secretly working with koopa (bowser) the whole time, while Luigi’s hatred and sadness to always being stuck in the shadow and the end result of them clashing has left luigi as a charred corpse

I appreciate this mod, like, a lot, and for many reasons. The calm and not so fast tone gives more of an "This is the end" vibe than a "This is only the beginning" vibe. I also like the fact that we play as Luigi and not Mario in the mod. It gives us time to see his side of things. Mario didn't need to hit him into the lava. He could've just walked away, or helped Luigi. He could've just accepted him. Lastly, I appreciate the attention to detail. The idea for the mod to be more faithful to the source material than the fnf style is a great detail and something I've seen AND liked before. Sure, the fnf style is good, but you can't go too wrong with the original.
luigi tried to kill him, and there are different versions one where luigi hits him first while mario is on the floor and the other where they fight, talking would not work as its not mario's fault that luigi is on his shadow as he didn't difamate rumors or push him back

I love the sprites. And they may even be a subtle hint at how they feel. Mario doesn’t have much about it change other than his eyes, like his body only gets squashed and stretched and only his eyes move.Showing he is standing his ground. Knowing he was in the right. While Luigi has more sprites with more stuff happening by. Like his hand moving further his free hand turning to a fist in his up sprite. Or his hand moving further from his side in his right.A little nod to show that he has more than one reason to have double crossed Mario. This is either a really smart decision by the devs or me rambling on about something.

I still can’t get over Luigi’s expression doing the right pose. His other poses, including his idle shows vitriolic hatred, but that right pose. That damn right pose, shows that despite the person he’s become, it shows Luigi may sort of have an once of guilt and regret from his actions.

the slower, more somber song really makes it feel like they're just trying to communicate their hatred for each other, while still having to remember the times they've had together. the "thank you for nothing" could be luigi trying to tell mario that even before he killed him, mario never really did anything for luigi.

Seriously, the background song almost made me cry for how sad, slow, and depressing it was.
mario looks like he's trying to act like he was the moral and upright one and that he feels nothing towards destroying luigi, while luigi looks like he's barely choking out hateful words towards mario, with nothing but spite and malice.
sidepoint: there's two versions of the 'i hate you' mod. i consider these two perspectives, personally. there's one with an easier boss fight against luigi, where he gets knocked into the lava by accident, causing mario to break down crying. there's another with a much harder luigi fight where mario defeats luigi, then purposefully knocks him into the lava with a cape, feeling nothing. i believe these are the ways the two brothers tell the story, with the first one being mario's perspective to give him sympathy and make him look innocent (while making luigi look weak), with the second being luigi's perspective on how it really happened.

This song is so relatable to me because I wouldn't want to imagine losing my brother and/or hating him so much. Although my brother is 11 years older, him and I never argue and have pretty much the same viewpoints on everything. Hell, we even agree that Halo 5 sucked.

Story: the backstory to this fnf mod is that it's a creepypasta. So, to this creepypasta, Luigi is tired of being Mario's sidekick and decides to join bowser's team.
Then some time later mario and Luigi meet on a bridge mario starts fighting Luigi the parts of the bridge start collapsing into the lava then mario accidentally pushes Luigi Into the lava and Luigi screaming in pain saying "OH GOD NO". Then after that since it was accidental mario starts crying after Luigis death.
But there is a twist. I'm not sure is either mario used a super star to grab Luigi out of the lava for somehow Luigi got out of the lava himself.

You got it all wrong my guy, if you watched IHateYou.EXE or even played it then basically luigi is trying to get rid of Mario due to his jealousy towards Mario getting all the credit and attention. Luigi is tired of being left out so that's the reason why he is so angry towards Mario.
(Bonus: At the end of the game, Mario pushed Luigi to the lava accidentally without thought so that's why Luigi looks like what he is right now.)
