I always wanted to play this much closer to the original tempo and that just wasn't possible for me in 2015, but now I hope you can hear the difference! It's nice to look back sometimes on your work and see where you've made progress. We decided to do a live session at home for this video to show you a little more of how I work on sessions - over the years I have done much recording at home on my own and with collaborators, I love the process as much as it can sometimes be frustrating, and often so different from pure live performance. If you want to work with me on a session either remotely or at a studio, please get in touch via my website - I'm open to all offers musically, but I'm particularly interested in working with metal bands and video game composers (no surprises there!). This month I'm also giving a home recording workshop at the UK's first Jazz & Pop harp festival, Wild Strings, in Manchester. My workshop is at 12pm on Saturday, but the festival starts Friday night and lasts all weekend, based at the Royal Northern College of Music. I feel like I'm watching this video at 1.5x speed. The way your hands jump back and forth between three octaves is incredible. Maintaining quality while playing at a much faster speed - you certainly haven't been idle the past three years!

Hi Amy...Unfortunately, I am not able to play the harp, only the piano. But I just saw the elder video to be able to compare the new and old vid. I already did like the "older" version a lot..It must be heavily or extremely difficult to play. Nevertheless, I personally do hear an improvement and agree on the faster tempo and a more fluent playing! F*a*n*ta*s*t*i*c. I can only estimate how much u must have been practising this piece.
