Bro you’re not explaining the reasons for the sensitivity and how there work in this video the look is is how fast you want to look left to right while zooming in the target is how fast you can turn while blind firing with the gnasher the zoom is how fast you can zoom in with the markza and your not explain the best sensitivity of your type of play style which the way you play you should play on 26 and 22 for your target target and 20 for your zoom and your aim acceleration all the way up and your inner and outer dead zone at 2 and your accuracy would improve about 45% more because you have the same play style as me and play on paddles like me so this would honestly help you more
If you played on 26 22 20 and your inner and outer 2 with the elite 2 controller with the paddles like it’s normally set up with the top left paddle as the a and use your ring finger to use that paddle and have that your aim would be drastically improved while blind firing and you would be vary surprised on how accurate you would be it’s almost impossible to miss while blind firing the gnasher with that
fantastic, i’d love to see raw decision making in one of your games, even if you don’t come up on top, i wanna learn the game sense of your average game and study it
Hip fire being a tighter spread than aiming in is ridiculous, you should be rewarded for aiming in, crazy how they implement this after a 1year and a half of the game being out
I'd say the title is a bit click baity because it wasn't exactly a detailed full blown tutorial and how to get better, HOWEVER... your tip and reveal (Because I never knew this) that blind firing was not only better but way better than in any other gears I have played has actually blown my fuckin mind. Thanks so much man. I was always wondering why in Gwars 5 my pop shooting never worked. For so long I have been so mad at hitting what I thought was dead center and perfect shots... only to find out that blind firing is more accurate than a fucking pop shot. Which is really gay but whatever. Knowing this now really helps because now I understand why people did more damage than me despite me being insanely accurate.
Honestly I would love to see tips maybe on engagements why you engaged in a certain way, what situations you prefer using ur wallbouncing in etc. GREAT VID BTW LOVE YA
So Gears 5 is basically the opposite of earlier games when it comes to spread? Interesting. Honestly, I don't think aiming should affect the spread at all, as it basically just gives you a reticle and a more focused view at the expense of mobility. It shouldn't reward or punish players for the type of shot they make by changing physics. That being said, I do prefer hip firing being rewarded over hard aiming, as it does take a little more skill to land shots accurately. But realistically, the only trade off should be that aiming gives you a visual aid, but makes you less mobile and easier to hit while hip firing is easier to miss shots, but makes it easier to evade incoming damage.
Another thing I think people really fail to understand is that the how to mechanics of playing this game are only like 80% of winning gunfights. Gears is so fire because it's so much more of a mental game than people realize. If I make this move the enemy can do X,Y,Z and if they do any of those I can do A,B,C because I know it'll chunk them. So many ppl don't know when to push or when to make their moves. And I think alot of that is learned by watching pro players and by playing at a competitive level. Casual ranked game play isn't going to teach you much about when to push and how to push at the right time because it's so laid back in comparison to even a wager match where a lot of ppl know what their doing and everything else I just named. A lot of ppl in the gears community I've seen have been asking for how to get better at pushing and there's no easy way to get it 😂💪🏽 Hopefully someone reads this. Have a great day domez. Loved this video
Something that I see no one is paying attention is to the wallbounce and bullet dodging system, every pellet and bullet counts, that fact makes more difficult to dodge a bullet, thinking about the instant kill and insane damage you can do being in a cover fight with this "if you can see your enemy, you can hurt him".
9/10 if they super close just hipfire I’m going to make a more detailed version and go super in depth this week. I have to get adjusted to my new hand position
Thanks Domez. Gears has always been my favorite game. Used to be beast at halo and since infinite came out something is just not the same . Gears kills satisfys me more than halo. Gears is more of a man game . They say its expected possibly gears 6 in November 2022 but i hope its true.
Another strange thing about the guy with no gun (6:37) is he looks like he's running without bending his back down, ducking for cover. (Not Roadie running. And yet running the same speed as you)
DomeZ man big fan of what you do. That said, and this comes from love, popshotting and LTing before you shoot can definitely give you an advantage, especially early on in a fight. Imo this video makes it seem like most people should hipfire instead of popshotting or LTing which is only true in circumstances that allow it. I think it would be better to have a comprehensive guide on how to engage players, depending on distance of course, in which you go over when to pop shot vs hipfire, when you should push/not push and so forth. Wish ya success brother.
@@shathan123 well, from my experience, it's better when engaging an enemy in cover, it's better to get a decent first shot off even if you have to aim, it's better when you know an enemy is hurt and you just need to put damage out. Speaking of damage, just putting damage out whenever your at medium to far ranges is better than waiting for a chunk though holding your shot in certain situations is better suited. It all depends on what is happening. Pop shotting, LTing, hipfiring, wrap shotting, back a-ing etc.. all have their use and I think a guide explaining these shots and what you're looking for when you want to use these shots would be helpful for people who are learning how to use the gnasher
@@muhmbuhls2027 I think what domez was saying is that hip firing puts out more damage than aiming does at the same distance (up to the point where both methods land 100% pellets, which I’m not sure how far that is I haven’t run a test) so with that logic, it’s better. However, I think it should go without saying, that if you’re better and more comfortable and accurate with pop shotting/aiming than you are hip firing in certain situations and because of that you have a better chance of landing the shot (because of course what use is hip firing if you can’t land any of the pellets) then pop shotting will be better for you. But all things equal, hip firing seems to be the way to go because of the damage output at medium/far range. I agree though that this tutorial didnt live up to the title/intro IMO. Not knocking domez though because he’s one of the best when it comes to teaching us how to play the game and has put out tons of videos on the subject and I’ll continue to watch them.
Another tip is to stop asking every pro player what their sens is. Pick one and stick with it. Most people shouldn't be on all 30's. The average player should stick with around 25 and stop blaming their sens on why they're average. Get used to a sens you can actually control and master the game through others mechanics because sens doesn't do all of the work for you.
Amen. I’m gonna echo this and also add that 25 isn’t even necessary. I play on all 18s and do just fine for myself. I think o Really and some others play on super low sens. Icy did a video where he changed his sens to something ridiculously low (under 10) and he was still dominating. Sens simply doesn’t make the player. Muscle memory is a very important aspect of the game and you need to commit to your sens so you can focus on the 74834 other aspects of the game that matter. Also there are variances (sometimes very noticeable) between controllers. I’ve gone through MANY controllers and can vouch for this especially amongst the aftermarket brands. So a 25 sens on one controller can feel the same as a 22 sens on another. So the only time you should adjust sens is if you ever get a new controller, you may need to make a minor adjustment to your sens until it feels like your old controller and then stick with it. Sensitivity is overrated. Commit to one and forget about it.
personally not a fan of the bullets coming from the direction the barrel is facing.. a lot of times you'll miss shots because someone shoots you in the arm, so your shotgun will be facing slightly downward when you fire back. all bullets should go center, not this 360 motion crap. you can test what i'm saying with Back A. sometimes the shot will hit the ground, sometimes it'll be center, just depends on where the barrel of the shotgun is located when you fire. if they want to be that literal and realistic, fools shouldn't be running through lancer bullets with their hand up like it's raindrops.. the hip fire/blind fire on this game is inferior to gears 4 blind fire, but you are right that you have to master center of the screen. you can buy a monitor that will show center of the screen. my vg245h did that. it also seems like they removed the flinch/shake from the sniper rifle.. used to be harder to shoot if you were getting hit with lancer bullets.. now, people still get head shots while being hit with multiple lancer bullets. in my opinion, coalition wants most gun fights to be hard aim, so that new players can have a chance, so they make the hip fire spread super tight to dissuade people from using it
Dotting is a form of cheating they should just add it in Gears 6. So everyone can be on even playing field. You can tell who does and doesn’t dot especially in osok. You are right about the hip fire though. Good content as always 👍🏼
@@avalarr1849 pop shots are easier because it centered for you and if you hip fire you can add it to that spot as well. I know a dotter when I see one. My nephew just started playing gears 5 and he dots and he’s sniping like he’s been playing for years
@@Zay408er bullets in gears come out of the gun barrel, not the camera. Aiming down sights only puts a reticle on the center for your screen, and the camera angle is adjusted to be closer to in-line with where the gun is shooting. You're still shooting where the gun is pointing, not the center of the screen. For instance, shooting the gnasher too soon after aiming down sights (doing a potshots too quickly) results in you shooting closer toward the ground than your reticle, because the gun hasn't been brought up to your head by that time.
@@Zay408er teaching people to only shoot their opponents with hipfiring if they are in the middle of their screen is getting a lot of people to miss their shots. DomeZ is just not realizing that's not what is happening
@@avalarr1849 I know that but you can use anything to line up blind fires my nephew uses two one for center to pop shot and another to blind. He lowers his sens to make it easier to hit the shots.
