I've heard great things about A Child Alone With Strangers. I really enjoyed this author's Boys in the Valley and Gothic, so I'm excited. I'm looking forward to reading The Final Women after hearing you talk about it. Thank you so much for watching.
Adding A Child Alone with Strangers to my TBR because I absolutely loved Boys in the Valley and I definitely want to read more from that author. I had an idea of what I wanted to read in July but a bunch of my library holds came in at just about the same time at the very end of June! Not the worst problem to have!
@@literarylove123 currently reading Home is Where the Bodies Are. Then Horror Movie, then The Dresden Files Book 10 (I forget what the real title is at the moment) and I bought How to Make a Horror Movie and Survive. I stopped reading Nightmare Man because the hold for Middle of the Night came in. I'd like to finish that next PLUS I'm still getting though the 800+ page Stephen King doorstop called 11/22/63. My July is packed!
I know I've said this before, but Fragile Animals sounds so good. That final girls book also sounds really good and interesting. Several of these sound interesting and deep. Happy Giallo July!
For Giallo July, I'm going to read Dead Girl Blues by David Sodergren and possibly The Bride Wore Black by Cornell Woolrich. I might try to get to The Once Yellow House too, since it's been on my TBR for a while. I loved A Child Alone With Strangers. No comment on Lost in the Garden 😂.
@adriennelee26 I have got to read some Sodergren soon. His name and books keep popping up every time I turn around. I'm excited to read that you loved A Child Alone With Strangers. Oh no about Lost in the Garden😂
Eeeee so here for your final girl series AND to hear your thoughts about Lost im the Garden. I won’t say anything about it but that I really enjoyed it!! I think you will too 👻 Happy summerweeeeeeeeeeeeen!!
Final Girls sound awesome. So many books about finals girls.
@@LindaTheGAMERGal Yes. There seems to be a resurgence of final girls and final girl commentary.
A child alone with strangers was one of my favorite reads last year! I can't wait to hear what you think of it. And Final women!
