Hey trigger on my tnw semi keeps slipping out and I get 3-5 shots and I have to mash the hell out of it to get it to go any suggestions I was thinking of bending the trigger bar maybe?
@@Stellar12316 well it could be as simple as adjusting the trigger stop screw on the trigger frame. I have a few questions. How does it do during dry firing? What caliber of ammunition were you using? Has the firearm been headspaced lately? Personally I would not bend the trigger. The first thing I would do is remove the backplate by pulling the bolt back and capturing the recoil spring and rod in the bolt and remove the backplate by moving the top cover latch forward and removing the backplate upward. Now you will be able to see the trigger stop screw and see if you can back it out so the trigger can move a bit upward more. Obviously this is done with no ammunition. Sometimes symptoms like this can be a headspace issue too. Let me know what you find. I have worked on tnw guns before.
I have a buddy that inherited a semi auto from his father or grandfather, he's in the process of getting his FFL to make it back into full auto what I'm understanding is that it would need all new internals?
correct if the semi auto conversion was done per the atf's requirements. Also the receiver would have to be disassembled and a right side plate with no island would have to be used.
@@KaliKomrade I was just hoping to avoid the $150 price tag on the KMP trigger... but after pulling up the schematics on it... yeah it would require custom fabrication work and that would probably end up costing more than the premade one.

Who done your mill work?
How hard would it be to modify the full auto trigger into a semi auto only trigger?
It can be done. However it is easier to purchase KMP metal products semi auto trigger and sear set. But years ago they did convert them.

It is well worth the price and they stand behind their product. Completely understand where your coming from though.
