My own personal opinion is that Alex Cox didn't depart this earth from a heart attack that wasn't brought on by something suspicious.
i think Lori wanted more money so she had Chad tell Zulema to do it and she did it.

I think Alex went to Mexico & bought some arsenic capsules. I remember the 911 call made by Zulema's son, he was naked & had diarrhoea everywhere & was reluctant to do CPR, he said he has shit everywhere,
They wouldn’t have given Zulema immunity for nothing. The big question is, why did she need immunity??, if she was innocent of any wrong doing?? What did she do that she needed protection from being prosecuted??

I feel she was in on whatever Alex took, I said arsenic previously not sure if it should be cyanide, but who knows if it was some toxic plant only grown in Mexico, you just have to take enough of it, he was sick on his way back I think?

Not only did JJ lose his Dad, Lori kept him from his grandparents Larry and Kay, Lori got rid of his therapy dog, took him off of his meds then lost his big Sister Tylee

I'm an old, retired criminal defense lawyer. Clerical errors like this happen, but rarely in such a high-profile death penalty case.
Tremendous respect for the Judge. He and his clerks are sharp. He's doing the right thing to take three days (they'll work thru the weekend) to research legal precedents in such situations. I can think of a few off the top of my head to determine it's a "harmless clerical error" both at trial and all subsequent appeals. But I'm not the Judge.
I doubt he'll drop any charges. But if he doesn't, Daybell will TRY to use it on Appeal. Probably without success, but he'll try. This is also pretty usual.
It's not such a huge thing in the Judicial System. It doesn't affect the underlying facts and evidence.
We'll find out on Monday.
We found out last night - Judge Boyce ruled in favor of the Prosecution - The charge stands - And the Defence starts on Monday

If Chad is such a spiritual being/leader/prophet, he has nothing to worry about, right? If he really believed his own lies he wouldn’t care about the death penalty because he could come back as someone else to fulfill his plans. This just goes to show what a fraud, coward, and murderer he is.

I also feel so sad for Lori's older son Colby.....he lost his whole family- brother,sister, dad (Charles) and his mom's betrayal (which is probably harder than if she had died).
Lori also bad mouthed him to Chad's family as Chad's deluded child Emma was mocking him when she accepted scraps of Tammys death insurance from her murderer whilst planning to move into Chad's grave yard..
He also went to clear out all of Charles personal stuff without giving them to his sons, received ALL of Tylee’s money. Where did he think she was without her money? Didn’t speak to her to ask if she was ok.
He was complicit to his mother’s nefarious deeds going waaaay back. I have a gut feeling about him but it’s just my opinion

And, if that's not bad enough, a family court in AZ gave her shared custody of said children, even after hearing evidence about this stuff. I am immune to Chad, Lori & Co. crazy at this point, but I simply cannot wrap my brain around how a judge, supposedly guided by the best interest of the child, could allow Melani anywhere near those kids. Her babies were going to be placed on hit list, and she did nothing to thwart it. She did not denounce Chad and Lori. She did not run away from Chad and Lori (they left her, in fact). She did not alert law enforcement to their past crimes and future plans. It's beyond outrageous that Brandon, who did everything in his power to protect himself and his children from that deranged Hit Squad, has to share custody with her. I don't know how he can stand it.
This crap happens over and over again in our legal system. Handing children over to unfit horrible parents

After Charles died, Lori ALSO: took JJ off his meds (anti-anxiety, etc), got rid of his beloved therapy dog, took him out of his amazing school, moved to 3 states in a few mos, spent ALL her time w/ the cult & KILLED his cherished sister whom was raising him, & of course... Lori was also treating JJ like he WAS a demon... sooo I wonder why he was so upset & "weird"?!?

Yes! That’s why this mistake on the indictment is so much more of a tragedy! I hate it, but really, if they followed the written law as it is right now, the 4th count would be dismissed! No one thinks the outcome will be different but I get it- it’s very important for the specific justice for JJ! To allow the change, some feel, this is a start to a very slippery slope! I sooooo hate that this happened!!

He’s average at best and agree, he lacks so much insight on the law and perspectives it’s hard to watch him. I mean… he is a local reporter in Rexburg, ID, not exactly where top reporters gravitate to. But, his dramatizing approach is what just turns me off….

It was a clerical error - to err is to be human. Glad the judge found case law to be able to rule against the motion. I actually gasped!

I worked for a printing company and know all about typos! They can happen during any stage of the printing process. I’m sure this was one of those cases. I praise the judge for seeing that!

Nate, today for the first time ever, when you were dissecting the texts between Chad and Lori talking about the road trip with JJ, I heard a level of disgust and horror in your tone. You have been so careful in your reporting but today I sensed how emotionally difficult these cases have been over the last nearly five years has been for you. All of us following you around the globe, I am sure are grateful for your stoic and thorough reporting of these cases. On a lighter side, thank you for allowing us into your family home and seeing you with your wife and children. Was so proud of Emmy’s wildfire presentation and her referencing Australia as we have had fires that have had huge losses of human, animal life and scarred our landscape.

Yeah he was on the money. I wonder what happened to Julie Rowe? Wasn’t she pulled up from trying to get into court because she was a witness in this trial? She wasn’t called by the prosecution. Maybe they thought she was too unstable to put on the stand. Surely she’s not a witness for the defence… or maybe she is 🤷♀️
I really hope there is Justice for Tylee, JJ, Tammy and Charles.
It is chilling to realize that Melaniece’s two children may have been next to end up in Chad’s backyard. How could a mother ever be complicit in such an idea? I suppose that Brandon was going to be the next Charles; his wife would get insurance; his kids would start receiving SS benefits-and then, this new cottage industry would start looking for other victims from whom to get cash. I understood that Mel-now-Pawlawski doesn’t have custody of her children. I hope they are kept safe from the blasphemy and diabolical intentions of anyone.

Has anyone noticed that Mr Prior often makes objections while the witness is answering the question rather than after the question? Which indicates to me, that he’s ok with the questions but not with the answers. This is the first case where I’ve heard the judge rule untimely objections so many times.
He so want to trip up people's train of thought.

The only telestial beings left in this saga are Lori and Chad. Both are liars, adulterers, murderers, sorcerers (zap children), etc. One is in prison and other will be soon too. Life w/o parole or death penalty is the only real question left.

The Prosecution put an incorrect charge on Lori's indictment and incorrect dates on Chad's which could have set both free. Idaho Prosecution needs a better proofreader ASAP.

I think that Prior’s ‘citizen’ lawyer acquaintance (the one who tried to stall the trial on Easter Sunday)has been poring over the documents looking for a loophole like this and just found the typo in count 4, and that’s why it was brought up when it was. It was just found.

I watched Tylee’s interview with police after Charles died, and I sat there and cried. How anyone could hurt her is baffling. Today’s iCloud dump broke the case imo.
Lori got rid of JJ’s service dog 😢 heartbreaking what happened to these children.
I think because she thought even the dog was possessed. JJs last couple of months must have been so hard with losing so much that was important to him. His dad, his service dog, and his sister. He still had Lori and Alex, but I'm betting they were not treating him as well as they had before.
Chad was looking the sell thd therapy dog for money, per his Google account (i think)

I think the judge had really mulled over the ending issue in court today. His ruling was well thought out and I hope it stands on appeal. On a lighter note, the poster board with “ word candy” is so clever!
