Fiat Punto Mk2 1.2 8v produced between 1999 and 2003
Fitting Instructions:
A simple to fit induction kit. Remove your current air box to reveal your round outlet and simply attach the pipes as pictured. An extra mini filter is included to go on your oil breather also pictured. Secure with provided cable ties if desired.
Notes:
We have only fitted this kit to the 1.2 8v so can only guarantee it will fit that. It may fit other Puntos but please check the pictures. Filter creates a very nice induction sound and takes the Filter closer to cold air.

Battery big as the engine

super capacitors
that would be the worst place to have the intake , u need it across near where the battery is , hot air is thin and wont give good fuel/air mix , so being close to exhaust wont work , what u need is the pod under the bonnet/hood , and need extra amount of pipe work and have in the front where the grill is a Cold air intake box , and then have that routed to the carb , colder air gives better combustion , and also what ever you do Intake wise u need to do Exhaust as well as if your getting more air in , u need get hot exhaust gasses out quicker , the better u get that, the better Bang for your buck u get , Air intake mod's are only as good if u know what to do with them on the other parts of the engine
I'm aware of that. There's no space near battery, it's double the original size. I already fitted oversize throttle body, performance camshaft & fuel pump, Ashley exhaust manifold and Supersprint catback. Definitely faster now :)

Michael Overhorst agreed my standard air filter looks like it sucks air out of the engine anyway may aswell make it sound loads nicer
Yeah right, also the standard one is above the engine. I have the same one as on this video, except i don't have that huge ass battery, so it fitted nicely in that corner behind the fan. So i'm pretty sure that get's more cold air than before.
The oil breather filter sounds very nice btw, sounds a bit like the turbo air valve on higher rpm's haha... "Psssss" while shifting, pretty ridiculous but funny as hell.

Yes you can but the filter must be short type :)

No it won't if you follow cone filter instructions. I've had the induction kit installed since I made this video, bought new cone filter last summer. My car is same as yours :)
