While the new weapon touches and the horde mode maps are cool, the big thing for me is that SGtMarkIV wasn't kidding when he stated that the big thing in this new version was optimization. Struggled with v21 in maintaining 30FPS on my previous rig without extensive graphics and performance tweaks. Meanwhile v22 could run on my throwaway android phone at constant 45 frames no problem. Really looking forward to that standalone game he's developing.
Horde mode is great, but it's super hard. have yet to beat the 1st map, the AI marines are very helpful and they do pretty well only losing a handful of marines until wave 7 then they get completely crushed and you have to fight multiple cyberdemons while fighting like 20 of every enemy
I expected it to be such a meatgrinder of a gamemod as always...it's why i'm just happy to have the option to 'eff around' on the fittingly labeled; "Power Fantasy" difficulty.

That shotgun looks so good.
Most of the weapons have been spruced up pretty nicely. I really like the new minigun look the most. Very chonky. :)
That looks amazing. V21 was a blast. I can’t wait to play this through.
This beta is great man. And you play well :D
Oh please, no compliments. I'm only playing around on "power fantasy" difficulty. :P
horde map is basically from anciet Armagedoom

I think you're supposed to play horde mode in multiplayer, that's why Mark made v22 compatible with zandronum
@@namvo3013 ah, yeah, that makes sense.
Could you link the horde map ?
it's in the mod itself
@@lambda-m1676 ah, thanks
