Is that air filter open in the middle cause if not it looks quiet restrictive
It's an open pipe with wire mesh over it.
Great video! I see the pcv valve isn’t connected to anything, and that the oil water separator is gone. What has he done with the pipe from the block to the w/a separator? Any issues? Hoping the owner sees this and give me some insight.
@petecr2508 Hey man he's got the oil catch tank connected to the sump return and the pcv valve because it has no vacuum running to it is shut at all times and not breathing. It's common to remove the pcv valve or smash the valve body out of it with a punch and run that to the catch tank as well. Advantage of running it is it stops excessive build up of burnt oil and debris building on the top of your rocker cover.
The orginal oil vapor separation box is long gone. Stock oil separator system is good but it Is ugly! When you start running big boost and breathing a little heavier then can get over whelmed as well.
