Hi, no I haven't tried those keyboards but in its class, VPC1 as a controller must be one of the best actions. MP11SE might be close. I think CA99 and FP-90X are in the lower range.
@@tim.studiorecords120 oh if I am not mistakened, MP11SE uses Grand Feel, which is a tiny little bit step up from VPC1 (RM3 Grand II), and then CA99 uses Grand Feel III, which is a step up from MP11SE
@@winterheat For the MP11SE I saw some reviews, where they say there is not much of a difference except that the keys are longer. In terms of VST control (also software settings available for VPC1) - VPC1 might be a bit more flexible. But I have not personally tried all of them.
@@tim.studiorecords120 the keystick length could be everything... from ES520 to ES920 to VPC1 to MP11SE to CA99... and did VPC1 come out 8 or 10 years ago? That could mean while everything moved forward (Grand Feel, Grand Feel III), the VPC tech was the same as that many years ago
@@winterheat well I dont argue that it might be better on MP11SE ;) The VPC1 apparently stayed on the market because the key action proved itself for a long time as one of the best for a MIDI controller keyboard for controlling VSTs (other mentioned keyboards have built-in instruments as far as I know). If you try all of them, let me know.
Peacefully amazing😊
Sounds great. What VSTi are you using?
Hi, I used the Production Grand 2 here.
Hi Tim, did you try Nord Piano 5, MP11SE, CA99, FP-90X and compare their keyboard actions?
