Focusing on the alignment and marking them with dots takes the guess work out of keeping it straight. I drew a lamppost recently and keeping it straight was the tricky part. This technique however, eliminates the frustration that can come with it. It’s so simply when you know how. You’re a good teacher, Stephen. Thank you

Soo cool how you explain it simply.. I'm guessing it's the perspective angle that makes you leave out its shadow?.

Thanks. N, I wasn’t trying to draw a scene, it was more just an exercise so I never intended the shadow. But it was high summer and I suspect the sun was overhead, so minimal shadow anyhow. 😀
