i know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Kristopher Charles Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Dr. Trefor, you explain the content very very well. I am currently in Calc 3 with good grades and understanding. Without your videos, it would have been VERY VERY difficult for me to understand what I learn in lectures. You explain not just the what but the WHY, and that has helped me so much!! The visualization that you use has been SOOO much helpful too. And you posted the whole course!!! In 10 to 20 minutes, you explain things way better than what I get from attending a 1 hour lecture. Thank you very much!!! God bless you
The problems with these chapters is the lack of picturisation in the textbooks. So we don't get clear ideas. And the best and perfect solution to this problem is Dr Trefor Bazett. The videos you are making is going to be of unimaginable help for a lot of students out there. Its just a matter of time before knowing about this channel. PLS DONT STOP MAKING THESE WONDERFUL VIDEOS SIR. KUDOS!
I’ve got to say your videos are great if I were to make one suggestion it would be to slow down your speech a little bit you seem very excited which is awesome but for a laid-back dude like me it was a bit overwhelming how overtly excited you are. That said I’m looking to get into vector calculus and linear algebra and I’m wondering where a good starting point is because after watching your videos I realize there’s a lot of fundamental theoretical knowledge that’s required and so where would a good base be because like you I’m very ambitious but sometimes I have to measure my ambition with a modicum of patience. Keep making these amazing videos and I hope you read the comments. A convivial Thursday to you!
You are saving my life with these videos. We use Stewart (Multivariable Calculus) in my class and I 'sort of understand' but this is sooooo helpful! Thank you!
Excellent introduction. I really enjoyed how you explained the visualisation part. I find it hard to explain what a tensor is, hopefully, I will get some clues in the gradient of vector field video.
Thanks sir. Your explanations are very good and will help me a lot in understanding this outstanding subject. I intend to be a lifelong learner and you will be an important part in my journey.
Started learning about vector fields after watching an anime where a character had the most OP ability because he could manipulate, transform, control and reflect any vectors. I find knowing about vector fields in itself a superpower.
Excellent sir. Please increase video duration at least 20 min especially for Vector calculus topics. They are very helpful for Physics. Future heroes are waiting here: Gauss, Stokes , Green's
haha yup all those are coming. The idea with this playlist is there will be many shorter videos over the next month or two:) Will try to hit everything.
its crazy how different some institutions can teach calculus. I'm learning everything in your calc iv class in my calc 3 class, but not everything in your calc 3 class is in mine. also we use pqr for vector notation
Question at 2:25, why does the vector field have to map R^n to R^n and not some other dimension? Eg we have a basketball (in R^3) that has a temperature at every point. Couldn't that temperature just be in R^1 ? Would that *not* be a vector field?
@@chyldstudios Field in this context means function of space. Like a temperature map, gives temperatures at each geographical location. A temperature map is a representation of a temperature field, which is an example of a scalar field. A scalar function of each point in space. Another example of a scalar field, would be an elevation map. Elevation is the scalar, while the x-position and y-position is the point in space as the input to this scalar function. A vector field specifically, is a function of space that gives you a vector quantity at each point, rather than a scalar function. The most common examples you see of applications of vector fields, are velocity vector fields of fluid flow, and force fields, like the electric and magnetic fields. Force fields give instructions to a body sensitive to the force field, for what force it should experience at each location in space, based on the applicable property of matter (e.g. electric charge).
What does it mean when you said for two dimensional input , we have two dimensional output and it lead to a 4d graph , does it is in the context of single or multivariable calculus or anything else?
Just broadly speaking, if you want to show two inputs and two outputs at the same time, that is four degrees of freedom you have to figure out how to display graphically
Doubt-----At 9:05, how the vector can be plot, not able to understand that, cause see for f(0,0) it's going to be (0,0) and f(1,1) ---> (1,1) , then where will the arrow go, as it's going to be a point always, anyone there clear this doubt.
EDIT: 2 years later im wondering why i said this.. ignore it's all wrong F(1,1) = 1i + 1j means that the vector starts at (1,1), and then it ends 1 point up and 1 point to the right of (1,1). Meaning the vector starts at (1,1) and ends at (2,2).
That's fine, but we are mostly interested in the NxN case (example 3D vectors in 3 dimentions) and that special case has results that only apply to it.
Hmm so vector fields are just vector functions? I can't wait to see this applied to electromagnetic and gravitational fields lol. Although, I think they're tensor fields, not vector 🤔
Yes (with the condition that the domain and codomain are both the same dimension). But the main point of vector calc isn't that the fundamental object is all that unfamiliar, instead it is that it has a lot of physical significance and we can do all sorts of physical things with it like flux and so forth. Haha one of these days I may upgrade to the tensor view which is a nice generalization
DrTrefor I appreciate you very much your explanation is very nice but if you are allowed I want to share with you one thought which is JESUS CHRIST loves you so much he gave his life for you the bible says in John 14:6 Jesus is the way, the truth, the life understand life without Jesus is dead

You are so awsome! One of the best math teachers in TH-cam. Thank you
This is how mathematics should be taught. Thank you so much sir. Only after watching your videos I'm able to get the idea behind the concept.
exactly this is the meaning of what is the learning, nice job
This makes vector fields seem understandable. Much more than the textbook in my class.
The best video I have ever seen on Vector field. I wish I had seen this video in my engineering period.
God bless you! I cannot imagine how difficult Calculus-3 would be without your help.
best video on vector calculus i have ever seen...hats of to u man
Thank you so much. I was not taught the procedure to plot and had some misconceptions. Now I get it. Thank you so much!
Love yours channel, appreciate you. You’ve made this semester so much easier!

Amazing! Do more videos on vector fields and how you would apply them to a real-world use case.

Where can I find easier lectures, please reply
Thank you !
I am plotting my dogs movement in the house
Could u pls pls pls make intuitive videos on complex variables as well? Pls pls professor

Sir why didn't you take modulus with magnitudes i.e. F(x,y)=|m|i^+|n|j^
Why would n=2 give vector field in 4D.?
2 dimensions for the input, 2 for the output.
Is there an android app to plot vector fields ? I don't mean only playstore app. Any aap from an unknown source can be useful .
For the algorithm.
