Good job - When Jools or any other soldier died I always reloaded - they were just pixels but the had somehow so much more to them than today's game characters. I wanted to compete the mission with them, "we're not losing anyone today" - coh engineer :)
One of the best, most fun, and most memorable games I have played in my life (but at times incredibly frustrating too :D). I will never forget Cannon Fodder 1&2 and those amazing introductions. It also had that slightly ironic humor of the horrors of war - as lukasamid mentioned - which is sometimes unappreciated. Powerful remix of the song! Love it :)

This was deep for a 2d game way deeper than I realised as a kid playing it growing up. Deployed to Baghdad and Basra and experienced combat and deaths. This song always stuck in my head and I always think how true/fitting the term cannon fodder is. All the lemmings and armchair generals crying out for war or conflict escalation are so ignorant to conflict

Soundtrack of my youth.
Sitting on 1st floor playing Cannon Fodder on the Amiga... Whenever this came up, I'd just turn up the volume.
strange thing the memories... are the only beautiful thing of the past and yet they make us sad.
Wonderful piece of music. Bringing old games themes back to life is a commendable act, especially when done in such a majestic way. ^^
