Thank You for this. The Bitwig Saturator is one of the most confusing saturators I've come across, because of the unusual controls they offer, compared to others out there!
LOL, yeah when it came out, was "YES !! a saturator" then you open it and is like "Crap, what is this ?". But it's is great actually, gives you control over thing other saturators cannot give you. I think they thought it that way.
@@XNBeatsMusicit’s quite a masculine muscular saturator lmao 🤣 It’s Berlin German made so, haha. there’s so many saturators out there no doubt for beefing things up or making something more exciting, enhanced. Various knees and a gate to control, yeah that’s different. Reminds me slightly of Khs dynamics, I think you need to attenuate or high pass the lows because I feel it adds extra under 25 hz harmonics, this needs to be tested.
The knee control has like 3 knees haha, mixing various knees together to control the punch is quite , well… here he has a Depeche Mode early 80s example.
OMG, now i understand why i always used thirdparty saturators (like Audiority Pre X7, some HorNet ones - straightforward saturators). Will have to watch this video again and again. Thank you for this hard work of describing this device! A titanic labor!
Thank, it's always a pleasure to help. I wanted you to see what it does instead of hear, because is easier, the all that matters is how it sound, but we humans are very visual that's why making music, mixing and so on is so hard. But yeah. now you know visually at least what the controls do :)
Definitely use your best quality saturator or learn to parallel mix the saturator, which is by creating the wet dry mix knob for additional control and refinement.

@@XNBeatsMusicdefinitely, I think Wet dry mixing helps with a lot of this in adjusting the harmonics added. Just watch for potential phasing
Thanks for your videos. I made a small donation I can afford now. 👍
