It’s having the patience and motivation to do something properly that makes the difference.A small job that needed doing that some might have just left.Nice one.All the best.
If the lens of that number plate light is visible directly from behind, depending on the angle of the plate, it might fall foul of the lighting rules, it has to be indirect lighting. It might be prudent to check if a bend on it is needed.
Hello Craig, that’s a neat little job you did there, where was the boss(Blue)? Nice little plate too. Sometimes difficult to get hold of around this way. Cheers Kevin.
I completely agree about the number plate , mine always get chain lube splashed all over them and being white it looks a real mess . I might cover it in black vinyl as you suggested I have some lying about .
A nice easy job, and a nice morning watch, before heading to garage myself, love been in garage, great video, you might not get your head around my scooter, pia mp3 500 sport, how you like them.
made my own cutting and bending aluminum sheet, 1/8th was it? cut a cardboard template first it has multiple bends and compound bends, SRAD.. works great looks stock, painted it black.. mine doesn't have signals in the tail so I bent signal tabs as well.. dreamy, of course I coulda of done way better welding so forth installing tubes for the wires, powder coating but everything is discrete and tidy
Yes much more betterer! 😁 I wasn't even sure what a tail tidy is, had to look it up - oo yeah lots in the accessories markets. 😊❤👍 Interesting to see you cutting and shaping aluminium, doesn't it clog up the discs?
I know that a guard on an angle grinder can be a pain/awkward to work with but if a disk shatters, the injuries can be horrific if not deadly. Seriously folks, like with not wearing eye protection when drilling, using a lathe etc, don't do it.
Speaking of odd jobs, how is the van built comin along ?? Really keen to see that. I hope your are going to film that and share on the other channel or this one. rsm8
ncie billboard plate, so what is it? you Britts prone to poor eye sight or are you just that fast on the streets they gotta have rolling billboards to catch the numbers? :-)
Craig, seriously why would someone (maybe not your mate, I dont know) spend £4.99 at Homebargains for a tail tidy meant for a wheelbarrow and fit it to this lovely bike when they could've had the Smelly Guy at the Workshop to custom make one using anything from 3mm to 6mm stainless plate or use his Tail Tidy Tutorial and make one themselves. th-cam.com/video/wVxGrTaYpb8/w-d-xo.html They will need to guess Part 2. It would be great to see the videos you do to help friends, its how our world works, its a pity we missed you doing Isaacs bike a couple of weeks ago.
Knew from the get go that old bracket was going to end up in the scrap bin and a new improved one would result, very nice job that!
Craig, changing his mind !!! No I don’t believe it 😂😂, nice work, that bracket and light was a horror show 👍
It's good to have friends that help each other out.
It makes the world a better place. 😃😉
Thanks for sharing Craig 😉👍
I think we were all shouting " The Marker Pen is right in front of you" 🤣
I do this all the time!
I always bond my number plates on never had an issue, I hate number plate screws. Nice job as always Craig

Looks like a much better solution to the original. Now you could turn your attention to the different angles of the end cans.
Haha, the bike is mine and yes the exhaust will be getting sorted asap. Cheers.
Haha, while watching the first few minutes I knew you were going to start from scratch. Well done as always.
Enjoyed the odd job Craig

Helps change your mind when you realise the light won't light the plate with the bend in the bracket... 😉🤫

Don't you just hate those Chocolate Block Connectors, not waterproof at all. Nice new bracket to old one was a mess.

Sweet
What are you one about?
Last 3 plates I got from eBay were ALL black backed. Lol

What sort of sick and twisted individual uses choc blocks on bikes... 🤣
someone who has no idea what they are doing and shouldn't be working on bikes... There that said it.
