Always enjoy listening to Carl especially talk about the facts of selling, but most of all when he said he gets great happiness from making those less fortunate or sick children happy was touching what a true gent. 🙌

Another great one Rob. Aged 72 the nearest I ever got to owning a Super car was when I brought a new Lotus Elise ,I'll get my coat 😂. Didn't own it long as I missed having a motorbike. if I totalled up what I spent on them I could of brought a Super car. In the short time I owned it I made so many new friends I think they were friends because they were all waving to me with a clenched fist 😒.Guess you've also seen them driving your SC as well. Carl seems a nice fella but I do hope he eases up working because before you know it life has past you by.

Imagine how much lunch would cost with this guy if you had nothing of value to reciprocate and here we are getting real insight and real stories. I am grateful this is rough, ready and real. I love the fact is in a sound proof cupboard with no tacky props doing an interview in a lunch break

Carl comes across as a really open , really sharp guy who is an expert at what he does. A people person who is driven , so it is easy to see why he is so successful and so well suited to what he is doing !

This Rob Moore looks so out of his depth here. Which is frightening based on who he’s interviewing ! A father and son who exaggerate and can’t delegate !
Agreed- very amateurish video, regardless of the nonsense watch talk the sound was awful and it looked like it was filmed in a Travel Lodge on a industrial estate near Corby
Exactly the hartleys are car dealers, just like other car dealers full of their own crap.
In my humble opinion: An excellent guest who spoke frankly and provided terrific insight into a world most of us can only dream of. The sound quality in particular at the Q&A section was incredibly poor. The interspersed adverts to me were underwhelming, I didn’t follow up on any of them. I think Rob and his team will be disappointed with a lost opportunity particularly with the video production quality but I think they are smart enough to learn from this experience and do better next time. I would have liked to been in the audience. This event was a terrific opportunity to hear directly from a very successful businessman with a legendary family heritage.
At 8 years of age I was minding cars 🚗 for football fans I resonate although not millionaire yet I went on to sell gold jewellery fancy goods at 13 then I went to university 😢 although did get to go to Santa Barbara ❤

Exactly - Romans, Talacrest, DK are much more successful.
Unsure what cars has in his personal collection, the only notable car I know is his Zonda which is for sale. at £2.3, JC has 2 SP3 , a LaF, a LaF Aparta and a few other other cars total value circa £25+ ...... and compare JC book vs Tom Hartley book.
It’s not even the richest Supercar dealer in his family, let alone the UK or the World. 🤣 In both their last sets of accounts, THJ turned over £114m and made a profit of £9.4m. TH was £37m with a profit of £1.2m so it’s not even close.
Having a credit line with the bank doesn’t make you rich, it just means you can buy stock. A great position to be in, through years of hard work no doubt, but if the bank takes that credit line away, they’d not be able to trade anything like the sums they currently do.
A very profitable business no doubt, but these self proclaimed “I’m richer than you” titles are just silly.
