I forgot to say a couple of things: First, this new interface is not yet available on the market, but it will be soon (just in case you're wondering why you can't find it at the link in the description. Second, although this is a video sponsored by AMVR, I did use their product before and loved their previous facial interface as well which I bought with my own money and I was perfectly satisfied with it. I wouldn't have accepted this sponsorship if I didn't like their products. Just to be crystal clear.
Very interesting facial interface! Thanks for testing it and sharing your thoughts about it. I'll definitely buy one once I receive my Quest 3 for Black Friday! :) Just subscribed by the way! Cheers from Montréal!
The major difference between this new one and the previous model is just the convenience of using the dial for those using glasses. Any other kind of extra comfort or convenience you think this new model provides is negligible and not worth the extra purchase. There is absolutely no point in purchasing this new model if you already own the older model.
@@SeedOfLife78 I should have made that clear. You are partly right. True that if you have already the previous one you don’t need the new one. However, people who don’t have that should prioritise the new model. It’s more comfortable in summer. The gel inside makes the difference in perceived freshness. At least for a bit.
Seems like its basically the exact same product but with dials for the spacer adjustment. As someone that already has the older AMVR option, this seems pretty pointless to consider as an "upgrade".
@@varph_ the inside of the facial interface feels different. Feels fresher to be honest. Also the previous silicone nasal support wasn’t great and wasn’t very compatible with my charging dock…as it kept the headset far from the contacts. Nevertheless If you already have the previous AMVR you don’t need to upgrade. This is just a better product compared to the previous version. An evolution let’s say.
@ my statement relates to the interface that comes um when tethered to the pc. It’s just does not have enough features. From my perspective it’s missing the following: Brightness settings (which was removed) Gamma adjustment Loadable environments for gaming in big screen mode. (Which it had) Virtual desktop does these things and so much more like somehow deepening blacks which is reaaaaaaly noticeable in dark games. Sadly VD has no tethered mode. Then I would not care. Also the whole interface looks like a demo if you ask me.
I have the older model and would disagree, the plastic on this version looks more substantial meaning more stable on head. Also the adjustment on old version feels like you are breaking it. This has gotta be an improvement. My major complaint is we should have options to buy replacement leather thicker cushions. give me like 3 pads for $20 and would buy, missing opportunity.

Now that thing seals up and shuts away light well from the looks of it. Sheesh!
@@FatherLamb yea this one works quite well I should say.

@@MaximumDiverwow…Montreal?!? I just realised how insane this is…didn’t know people over there watched my content. This really blows my mind 😅

@@asrieldreemurr5298 hi there, yes, it’s removable.
@@VRDaD oh! thanks for the quick anwser!
@ my pleasure. It happened that I had my phone in my hands when I got the notification 😊

We can hope they fixed the quality issues.
@@Paul-uy1rujust curious, what quality issues? I used the previous interface for over a year and I had no issues whatsoever. What happened?

I have the s30 pro bobovr , do you think this new amrv fits without problem ?
I mean Sims to limit the angle because is way to hight than the original interface
@@bratosin1 I have the s3 pro as well. It works perfectly fine for me
