The faro shuffle is so relaxing. I find myself watching TV and just continuously doing the shuffle lol.

The gilbreath's principle is absolutely fantastic ! And the Faro shuffle is really useful too ! I love maths in magic !
Btw, fun fact : if you put a card on top of the deck, and pick a number between 1 and 52, take this number, convert it in binary language, and for every 0, do an out Faro, and every 1, you're doing an in Faro, you'll get the card in the very number you picked at the beginning !

Thank you to Alex Elmsley for that.

An IN FARO is where the TOP CARD becomes second. An OUT is where it stays in place. Elmsley's work on the Faro Shuffle is the thing that legends are made of.

one thing that i'd like to add, i found that the cards have sort of a "good side" and a "bad side".
If you really cant seem to be able to weave them just try switching sides!
Hope this helps and... english is not my native language so i hope its all clear
    🤙

Learning mnemonica is way easier knowing faro, at least the shuffling part. There is also a straddle faro shuffle too

I refer the elites of thin crushed too. They just don't last very long though imo whereas Richard Turners last ages. For most my main demonstration routine I actually faro top to bottom cos i'm weird and because I normally need to keep majority of the top stock even, and my knackered ole cards while practicing get smashed up or sticky. I do however cheat like the dirty B i am when I wanna switch 26/26 for a specific card stack setup. I chuck in BC so I always get it exactly right. Enjoying the video so far awesome content as always Sean.

How about showing the flourish, bowing the cards, creating the ffffft and one deck?

Thanks so much I was struggling so much until I watched this video. I was simply forcing my faro shuffle and pressing too hard

"Just line them up against each other and relax your fingers, they'll go in by themself" yup, that's why I'm watching a tutorial on why they're not going in ;) I mean I wouldn't need a tutorial if it was just placing two piles of cards against each other and they'd mix by themself :D

I still believe, and will continue to argue the fact that a faro shuffle is self working 😂

WHY YOU DON'T MAKE ANY NEW VIDEOS OF "MOV3S"

I don't understand what you mean by "relax you hand" because when I do 10/10 times I drop the cards lmao

Dropping cards is part of the learning experience!
