  • Hello ;
    In this video we will present modelization of contact in abaqus between 2 rubbers using hyperelastic approximation method "MOONY REVELIN";
    Many engineering problems involve contact between two or more components. In these problems a force normal to the contacting surfaces acts on the two bodies when they touch each other. If there is friction between the surfaces, shear forces may be created that resist the tangential motion (sliding) of the bodies.
    The general aim of contact simulations is to identify the areas on the surfaces that are in contact and to calculate the contact pressures generated.

    hello sir ,thank you for this video,I have a question concerning abaqus, I have modeled a hollow sphere in abaqus, and I have applied a radial displacement in the inner surface,
    but when I run the simulation, I get the following error 1 nodes have dof on which velocity/displacement/acceleration/base motion etc.constraintq are specified simultaneously.the nodes have been identified in node set ErrNodeBCRedundandDof

      Hi. Thanks for your contact. Kindly check the list of boundary conditions applied in your model.if type displacement,verify if no others constraint has been assigned
