Great instruction. But how can we calculate the energy absorption and PLOT energy absorption-displacement curve? Thanks a lot.

Very helpful tutorial! thank you! Just one question, you created the Rigid wall surface set but didn't use. I am guessing you originally want to assign contact between rigid wall and hatch nodes manually, but instead you used the general contact setting, therefore the rigid wall surface set is not necessary. Is that correct?

You can combine both of tie contact

The general contact does not work in Abq 2022, the rigid wall just penetrates the body without any deformation!

how can i just see the part in results section.. and not the die ? can i make the die disappear to view the part only and take screen shots of part only after processing ?

But what was the use of creating wall surface

I am getting the error with "atleast one axis about which the rotary inertia magnitude is 0". I observed that this was not defined for the rigid body as well, How did you overcome this problem?

Thank for your video. I have error: The elements contained in element set ErrElemExcessDistortion-Step1 have distorted excessively.: There are a total of 31 excessively distorted elements. How can I solve it? Thank a lot

Thank you for the nice tutorial. By the by, my rigid wall is moving in the opposite direction to which it should move. Could you please help me figure out what's the wrong that I am doing?

very nice video!! I cant see the wall when I am doing the submission of the job, in the visualisation of the job. I just see how a line is moving and the invisible wall crash to the tube then it gets the deformation. What did I do wrong ?Maybe any property in the wall?

Do we have to define Rigid body constraint for analytical surface?
