I think of silver as a savings account . It's not an investment in my opinion. An investment usually involves a 3rd party using your money to make money. Silver pulls your money out of the system and puts it on a shelf.

I am expecting this as well. Logically thinking and taking into consideration the uses of both gold and silver, regardless of the raw out of ground ratio, silver becomes vastly more rare than gold. The bankers know this as well which is why they have removed it from our coinage.

Almost out of the banking system. Just enough left in there for utilities and CC. Bought another Morgan monster box last night giving me around 3500. I thought I was all done buying but the banks are getting really bitchy when you try to take cash out of your account. So buying metals online circumvents that hassle. My fear is hearing all these coin shops having their banks cancel their accounts. Where will I liquidate my metals when the SHTF?.

They are not insane. They are basing their arguments on reasoning and future logical outcomes. As Andy Schectman has said many times, this whole market is counter-intuitive, meaning it does not make sense because prices are rigged.

Once the photography industry collapsed due to digital technology the price of silver tanked.
It used to be within a ratio of 12:1 silver to gold.
It’s now 80:1. That’s how undervalued silver is compared to gold.
I can see silver easily reaching $220 US ($300 CDN) per ounce even before gold starts to climb.

Silver and gold are essential in a portfolio. But patience is even more essential. They aren’t assets that you can flip and make a profit on. They are to buy and hold as a store of wealth. They might not make you rich, but you won’t lose the shirt off your back either.

Silver prices are manipulated for consumers of silver. Solar panels are what keeps prices low. The green economy needs cheap silver and the banks manipulate prices to make that happen.

You are so correct, until the bank manipulate stops, for various reasons, and you are in the correct place. Look, view this in another way. Now do you think that a championship baseball team is a champion team before the last inning and the pitcher is at bat and bases are loaded and the count is 0 x 2 and the crowd (you all) think the game is over, and poeple are leaving the stadium, going to there cars, and the crack of the bat and the hit flys out of the stadium for a home run. 4 runs cross the plate, count them, and the game is a win 4 runs to 1. You will be in your car not seeing the game winning hit, if you continue to think like you do. GOOD LUCK

The central banks are very powerful and intervene in the markets to make them look like they are brilliant. I have been invested in silver since 2008 and have heard it all. I bought the dips, subscribed to their newsletters, read the books, and listened to their comments. The silver gurus have made predictions and have been wrong. In 2011 when silver hit $50.00, they all had orgasms, we’re holding hands and crying. They still predict and eventually they will get it right and then they can go and write their books on how they predicted the price and bull run. David’s last prediction was that you will be very happy in 2030 if you still own silver. 7 years from now! Let that sink in!!!

Your inablity to understand wealth building is a cycle that takes a lifetime, and has great rewards when conducted correctly. Impatience makes for looses. Your time frame in your words are concerning, some it takes an entire lifetime of study and planing, and then tweekings, to others that gain wealth quickly it is an accident they are wealthy. Truely so if you really study it, and stop crying in your soup about how many years. I decided impatience is a trip burdeon I do not need I gave it up a long time ago. Did you ever see the signs that would bite you dead if it was a poison snake, most wealth is commanded, and owned by old people?????? Did you ever take a lesson from that in place of complaints. If you see something in those assets that is consistent with review, and placing a investment do you quesiton those other assets when you see positive reason they should go up??? You realy sound like a noninvestor, with no method to finalize making a profitable investment. Why do you tell others your in cabable of evaluation??? and placement of sound principals of investing??? By doing so are you attempting to influence or what is your agenda???? You sound like a beginner options trader, on margin in other space investments that mad very poor choices and cant find a clear review method to proceed. LIke your frozen in space, or you are so devistated for some reason you move like a sloth, so slow that the movement is not significant used in the current markets.
For some people it is better to be a debtor, yes, I will not go into the details for my statement here, for some people it is better to be in CASH. For some it is better not to invest at all. Yes, you sound like your there, somewhere. I am puzzled with your explaing here?

Solar Panels have lifespans of 25 to 30 years. By 2030, many Solar Power Plants built around year 2000, will need to be upgraded with new Solar Panels.
I don't know how much Silver if any is recoverable from old Solar Panels.
I expect a great deal of Silver will be needed shortly as Solar Panels in Solar Power Plants reach end of life.
Eventually Silver consumption for Industrial use may exceed Silver production and recovery.
Thankfully, not much Gold is needed to maintain Industrial Society. For now, a great amount of Silver is required. I expect more Silver to be used in Industrial Applications such as Electric Motors and Generators because of it's low Electric Resistance, and high Heat transfer properties.
When used for such applications, Silver is 100% recoverable.
Unless Material Science can come up with something similar to Silver, we should expect more Silver use over Time. It's reasonable to assume Silver Cost will increase relative to Gold.
By 2030 this may be easy to see as Solar Power Plants around the World need new Solar Panels.
Due to Anti Microbial Properties, Health Care may also begin using much more Silver such as Nano Silver in Face Masks which will have poor recovery abilities.

The description of gold to silver ratio was incorrectly stated. The correct interpretation is that SPOT gold is priced 83 times higher than SPOT silver. Today, Sept. 4 2023, for example, you have the choice of spending $2045 for a gold Eagle, or buy about 75 silver Buffalo rounds at $27.24. The reality of the matter is that if you walked into a coin shop intending to swap your gold Eagle for silver, you would more likely walk out with 55 or 60 ounces silver rounds, and that is due to transaction costs and premium over spot.
