Oh Nicola, from ALPOM to the flower project you have kept me going through some very hard times. I now have a mini greenhouse, all the gear and have loved planting along side you. My mum’s garden is still full of flowering cosmos that I gifted her and it brings a smile all the time. As you might say ‘there is the thing and then there’s the thinking about the thing’ …… sometimes this will be sad and sometimes it will be a happy thing. Wisdom has lead you to this decision so therefore it’s right! The door is always open to restart it again too. Thank you for getting me to love growing. Best wishes. X

Sorry to hear but understand although plants can be split - humans can't! I haven't got arse into gear (weird times lately...) but I was going to because I liked the sound of sharing a glorious excess of flowers with neighbours etc. I hope you're TH-cam videos stay for a while so I can glean what I need to know once I do get arse into gear! Good luck in the future.

Thank you for your commitment to this project Nicola - here in South Australia I just celebrated my 64th birthday in the garden today as you posted this and of course my therapy today was picking my Oriental Poppies and Lamarque roses - take care with your future vocations - John in SA
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and spreading floral joy:) You should feel proud of what you have achieved with the Floral Project. Above all you should always take care of yourself. And even though that sometimes require tough decisions, it's always worth it in the the long run. Please take care and hope to see you around:)
Being honest I haven’t bought from The Floral Project (beyond my disposable income) but as a long time keen gardener I have loved being a part of the community that has emerged. I have engaged with the soul of the business through the Facebook group and hope that the bits of advice offered have been of use. What I hope above all is that the community of growers will continue, if we need to start a new group so be it. We can plan monthly plantings and continue to provide mutual support and advice. Such a shame if we lose the sense of community that has emerged.
