We had a beautiful buck on our property and hoped our son-in-law would be the one to harvest him. While he was hunting behind our house, we saw the big buck in our cornfield in front of our house. Someone else saw him, too. They shot from the section line and came up our drive and drove along the edge of the field to find the buck. It was dark by then and they must have turned their lights off. We didn’t know until my husband saw the tracks. It upsets me that this hunter had no idea who was out hunting or where they might have been. Safety was not in their mind at all. We were pretty wound up for a couple of days!
Here is an idea for deer treats. The guy I used to buy my horse hay from had a hunt club on his hay fields in the off-season. He would take old round bales of a rye clover mix that didn't sell from the prior year and strategically set them out around the parameter of his fields. He would then saturate the center of the hay bales with molasses and set them on their side. Later, he would see pictures of bucks on his game cameras with hay all in their antlers from where they were getting into the hay to get to the molasses.
There are so many things that go on at a farm daily. Most never get to experience those things. My son tells me daily I should start a TH-cam channel cause all the variety of content I would have from farm life. May God continue to richly bless you and your family.
@@2bornot2b60 As a 40 yr cabinetmaker. The cabinet guy should have caught that and had the hookups moved while it was easy to do. New construction, I normally measured for cabinets and door while the house was being framed. I caught a lot of this kind of thing. Easy mistake to make. Expensive to fix.

A Viking fan forever. My dad always took us to a Vikings game when they didn’t have an indoor stadium. We took sleeping bags to put on the seats it was a,ways so cold and sometimes snowy. Unfortunately he passed away at the age of 95 and never got to see the new stadium. But he rooted every Sunday for them. Today I do too!

When I used to travel from my place in Arizona to my place in Texas, my border collie would do the same thing only he used my right shoulder because when I did travel, I took my cat with me too, and he used to just sit on my left shoulder and look out the window. I used to get some really strange looks with cars passing me.

Be careful with using the pallets in your pond. I’ve been told that a good amount of pallets are pre-treated with chemicals to prevent rot and fire retardants. There’s usually some sort of lettering that identifies if they’ve been treated. I would definitely look into it before you use them in the pond.
Daniel and Dejay since you could finish out the garage into a game room- bunk room you could make the washer and dryer out there and you could use the other space for a pantry. Yes I know this is extra money but it could be doable. Take care.
Just ordered several packages of pecans. Will be a surprise for my hubby. We used to get Zip locked packages from one of my parent's neighbors who had a lot of trees. We'd keep them in the freezer so we wouldn't eat them all at once. I do miss Oklahoma pecans!
I love seeing videos of Kelce. We have a Kelce but her name is Echo. She is named after the duck call we uses to hunt and compete with. You should get the wings of some game birds and tie them onto the string of a rod and reel like u would a lure and get Kelce to acknowledge it. She will probably go crazy. Then cast the wing out just a little distance and watch her point it. That’s what she was made to do is point quail, pheasant, chukkar, etc. And then you also have her tracking deer too because they do have excellent noses. Echo likes to hunt lizards and she will dig a hole nearly to China if she smells a mole. Keep the Kelce videos coming!

Per the international building code, no inteir water pipes shall be placed on a outter cold wall. Those water will constantly burst do to the cold weather. Especially if the air temperature will below 32 degrees. Those pipes need to moved to that interior wall, like U pointed out in the video. Loved the hunt with Jacoby! ❤🎉🎉
It's the perfect size for a B and B. You could buy one or two beds on wheels that fold in half. They are single beds. I am trying to remember the name. Kelce looks back. Umm, you are not coming to help. If you can flag it with a tall pole ( like a golf flag ), that might help with not catching the structure. I remember that video. Cute barndominium,m but needs some help. Like landscaping, tree, a covered back porch, fire pit with chairs. When you make a short term rental look nice, it’s treated nicer.
How expensive would it be to relocate hot cold and sewer line to the back of the rec room and put pantry cabinets in the current laundry room for a pantry/bar/coffee bar area as a walk through to the rec area. You could use existing laundry plumbing also for a small stainless steel bar sink
Look into the RV washer/dryer all in one. It should be a smaller size than a standard washer dryer. It might fit in that little area. the other idea would be the garage area that you are going to convert into a bunk room anyway.
I really like the idea of turning the garage into a bunkhouse game room. When our kids were smaller we always looked for a family friendly, keep the kids entertained 19:42 type house. You could move the washer, dryer out into the garage area.

Great day all round. The big deer with majestic crown survived the deer killing season. The deer will loose its antlers for Houston to collect as a gift for allowing him to live another year. Houston will enjoy the game of find the antlers with his friend and his dad. To make it more interesting there should be a prize to whoever finds the antlers. Houston will enjoy watching the buck for another year and see how many more points it will grow next year. Christmas will be here soon and no more bloodshed. All freezers are full of meat for the year. God will be happy in the heavens and hopefully all people and animals on earth will find safety and happiness. I’m just realised that I was wrong. I had just watched the first part of the video and heard that the buck had survived. I had to stop watching Because my grandson wanted my attention. I posted my previous comments not having seen the end of the video. I have since watched the second half of the video and sadly the buck is dead. Hence no antler hunt or will all ever know if he would have grown more points in future crowns 😢. So be it.
Great video. About the BNB you looked at. I like it. The washer and dryer situation is set up for stack able. From what I noticed, power source for both are side by side and you will have to cut hole for vent pipe for dryer. The stack able will fit dimensions but are expensive.

If you can, ask the neighbor how they worked around the washer and dryer problem. That is if the homes are identical in this area. It might be possible to move the water and electric to the other wall. I like the water heater.
That was a great gift for Houston. I won 4 tickets to a preseason game of the Tennessee Titans before I moved the next year to Oregon. It was amazing. I still remember that game. Sorry that guy killed the deer. He must have been in some pain from when you shot it. Great video.

Best fish structure is a concrete block set on cardboard, get you some bamboo cane, cut it however tall you want it, mix some quick crete to pour into the two big holes and add your cane. When done some of mine are 7ft tall and 7 ft wide.

You don’t do the laundry, I would guess.
It's probable made for an apartment size stacking washer dryer.
Make sure the pallets are heat treated and are not chemically treated.

Using piles of pallets for structure in your pond is a good idea and will make for the best minnow hatchery you could add to your pond.

Great video. About the BNB you looked at. I like it. The washer and dryer situation is set up for stack able. From what I noticed, power source for both are side by side and you will have to cut hole for vent pipe for dryer. The stack able will fit dimensions but are expensive.
I like DJs hair curly but I can see where straight is easier.

If you can, ask the neighbor how they worked around the washer and dryer problem. That is if the homes are identical in this area. It might be possible to move the water and electric to the other wall. I like the water heater.
That was a great gift for Houston. I won 4 tickets to a preseason game of the Tennessee Titans before I moved the next year to Oregon. It was amazing. I still remember that game. Sorry that guy killed the deer. He must have been in some pain from when you shot it. Great video.

Best fish structure is a concrete block set on cardboard, get you some bamboo cane, cut it however tall you want it, mix some quick crete to pour into the two big holes and add your cane. When done some of mine are 7ft tall and 7 ft wide.
