The mom gifts song was spot on. Reminded me of the year that I got a box of Good & Plenty for Mother’s Day. They didn’t even bother to put them in a gift bag. My family still hasn’t lived that down!

Especially relatable with Kim talking about her astigmatism. I've got that, too, & yes! Night during Standard time is just sparkles everywhere, & it's worse if it's raining. Worst? Local 2-lane roads with on-coming cars who haven't adjusted their headlights to point At. The. Ground. instead of in my eyes. I basically just stop until they drive past me because I am effectively blind.

Just a couple of days ago I mentioned to a colleague that Daylight Savings is the ultimate 'elusive punching bag'... everyone seems to agree that it should be eliminated, but a few surveys also quietly shown that ppl are divided about WHICH TIME they'd want locked in as the actual time.

I know! That's why I was scanning comments. And they supposedly want DST all year round which means somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean we would jump 2 hours, and then lose 2 hours somewhere across the Pacific Ocean... Or we can stay at Standard Time all year round and it will get dark at 8 pm in the Summer ...

Another great Parody Song Medley! I will have to correct you though about Daylight Savings Time. It ended on November 5th. So if you mean you miss DST because now it's over and you miss it because its too dark that's ok. But if you hate DST because it get dark too early that's incorrect.

That bothered me too... calling it "daylight savings." Maybe it just fit better in the song.

Actually, I think you LOVE Daylight Savings Time. That is what we just "fell back from" a month ago. We are now on Standard Time which means the early sunsets in the winter. I vote for Dalight Savings Time all year round so we have more hours of daylight at the end of the day during the winter.
We would all like a later sunset, but the trade off would something like 14 weeks worth of sunrises after 8:00 am.

I am confused by the daylight savings time song - shouldn't the lyrics say "I MISS daylight savings time?" Because we have it in the summer, and winter we just use straight up regular time. Right? And mom gifts, so spot on. Also now I want a cinnamon bun. Or a sticky bun. Or a pain de chocolat. Turnover. I'm not picky.
You need to do a parking song that deals with all the spaces stores are now marking for OTHER things. You go to the store and there are six "Handicapped" spaces (always empty) and then another 6-10 for online orders and delivery services (also always empty. Meanwhile, the customers who are there to buy things have to park a quarter mile away and walk through a field of empty stalls. Hallelujah holy $%#@ where is the Tylonol !!??!!??

I’m from Spokane Washington where Bing Crosby was born and raised. We have the Bing Crosby theater in downtown.

So actually daylight savings ended last month, so you should be glad it ended and now lighter in the morning, unless you don't like the dark in the evening? Anyway, if you hate the dark at night then you hate daylight saving times ending, or just wish it would stay at the time of DST.
My neighbor just said that when her husband wants to go out in the evening (the dark evening...) she'll think: is it bra-worthy?

True parking story. We were in second spot from door at local mall. When we got in car it became a major battle over our spot. We sat for 30 min waiting cars let us out. I had to flag a mall cop to navigate while hubby waited in car

Love the parking at Christmas song which is so true. In Toronto, it’s also getting out of the parking lot especially at dinner time on a weekend from November onward. Minimum 40 minute wait. I Only go if I absolutely have to get something.

This drives me crazy! Daylight savings is when it stays light out (Summer). Standard time is when it's dark! When we changed the clocks in November, we ended Daylight savings!

I literally learned yesterday that people with astigmatism see lights differently - flares or rays or halos. My poor husband who has astigmatism said "I didn't know that's not how other people see light!!" So know you're seen. And please say your kids didn't give you measuring spoons.

For many years it’s been debated on whether New England should be switched to Atlantic Time (Nova Scotia is on Atlantic Time) That would be great for us but I’m not holding my breath!

I am so confused as to why Daylight Saving Time is so hated this time of year when we are now back on Standard Time as of 11/5. I think it's standard time that many don't like -- that they would prefer to stay on DST to keep that extra hour of light later in the day.

4:10 No no no. This is totally inaccurate. He gets in his car, and his taillights are on, but doesn't move, then you realize he's on the phone, or taking forever to set GPS or something. Then you start to believe he's not moving just to piss you off. Then he finally comes out the wrong way, towards you, so you have to shift around, and that's when someone else from the other direction gets the spot.
Oh oh oh.......... To fill everyone with rage..... When you fallow the person to there car, and they just put there bag in the car then head back to the mall...I can not be the only one that goes crazy when folks do that...
