I have been using these for one year, graphite senior shafts for my slow swing. I gained for forgiveness on missed hits. No regrets switching to these from my Older Calloway x19 irons.
Just use a 4 hybrid if you don't get the distance from your 5 iron. The rest of the irons should be "dead" for precise distance. This high COR for irons is a con from the industry.
I got my set in today. Steel shafts. Can't wait to get out and play for the first time with them. They're beautiful clubs and not as big and bulky is what I thought they would be
I had the last gen and loved them. Brought the Taylormade HD irons because i wanted newer tech and a different look. Found i lost some consistency but liked them. But missed the Halos, so i think I'm going to get this new gen of Halos. Can't wait.

I purchased a full set of these with Helium Senior shafts they replaced my Ping G10’s that l lost all confidence in over the years. These clubs have made golf fun again; now often hitting greens in regulation and hitting them as far as I ever hit my Pings. I am 73. I look forward to par 3’s and approach shots; used to dread them. Ive also begun to swing easier with improved results. Only two criticisms….not easy to generate backspin with wedges and the beautiful finish on the sole quickly rubs off. Ive been playing weekly for about 4 months and they look 3 years old. Cleveland should go with a solid metal sole. Love these clubs, though!!! If you struggle with irons, give these a try.
I have 2 bad hips, I'm 45 and my 8 iron went from going 160+ to 120 yards, I switched from Wilson irons to TM Stealth HD, similar concept like these irons and the distance and height has returned to my game. Maybe post hip replacement I can go back to normal irons but why punish myself until then.

What’s nice about these clubs is they minimize the damage of a less than perfect swing. Back nine.. you might be starting to get a little tired.. and a mishit doesn’t necessarily cost you a stroke. I think anyone who is t breaking 90 isn’t benefiting from workability of pro level irons should be playing these irons.

Have last years model - incredibly good clubs and they go a mile with a easy swing.

Why oh why would you not test this at a swing speed relevant to 90%+ of the golfers who would consider buying these irons ?
Thanks Cleveland, I’ve never understood why all irons don’t have full face grooves. 👍
Removes need to focus so not so sure it's a good idea
@@paulmcgee1867 huh? That's like saying no need to add a grip to the club. Forces you to focus on hanging on tighter. Lmao.

Another good review. I noticed your hitting the Stiff shaft (F4) think it would be good to mention the shaft flex your using.

Tried these hoping they were like hybrids. Heavy club
I’ve got the previous model and they’d be great if the lie angles weren’t so upright… unfortunately they’re sitting in my garage.
You can get them bent to a flatter lie angle
If you’re selling let me know!
jeepers eh....interesting for sure.
