Please let us know the retailer. We should know which companies do such things. I got a MARS/CAP done when I bought my Icom ID-52 from HRO, and they did a wonderful job and I was able to verify that all the frequencies were, in fact, unlocked with no issues. But it would be nice to know who to give our hard earned money to. These radios are not cheap.
Out of all the radios I ordered from them, I had a single issue. Which, I think is a small sample size. If I thought the results of this one past exchange were indicative of future outcomes, then I would reveal who it was. But, that wasn't the point of the video. The point was to show people how to do the mod themselves on that particular radio.
Yes, but if you did not want to shine a light on the retailer, you wouldn’t have mentioned that at all and just gone directly into the Mars mod content. I will do no modifications myself and of course want to make sure that it’s done properly with no complications

I like HRO, I've never had an issue with them.
