But when factoring in cost of living, housing, rental crisis, and wages here, it feels like we’re paying a lot for daily essentials. In Samara, from what I’ve seen, coffee is around $2.87 AUD (170 rubles), but I might be wrong, I just googled it.

#45 already said he will end the war in one day. Meaning agree to the ruzzki mir or total capitulation of Ukraine.
As usual he's ignorant and deluded.
In Afghanistan the panic exit was caused by #45 doing a really great deal with the taliban not the national government and Allies, to demonstrate his incompetent diplomacy.
That low reliability gave kaputin permission to invade Ukraine in the knowledge that the Budapest memorandum would not be honoured.
The terrorist state has been able to mislead with misinformation and attack democracy and defence spending that should be strong enough for freedom to endure.

Mr Clarke is now economy expert
He still doesn’t see that Ukraine 🇺🇦 is lost the war
You don't have to be an expert to realise that when the majority of state spending is on buying armour which is subsequently blown up, the economy isn't triving.
Failing to conquer Ukraine, let alone the donbas after 970 days of failure doesn't fill me with confidence for Russia lol.
Michael!
The man has no clue, obvious decline of academics in the West.
What did he say that’s false?
For 1 he doesn't seem to understand a commodity & manufacturing economy, it has built in resilience.
Problem is that until the end of next year how much Ukranian territory and soldiers will be left? Without NATO direct involvement in the conflict there is no happy ending for Ukraine. Such a tragedy...
This clown is obviously unaware that Russia's economy grew at 12 times the rate of the UK's last year.
According to Kremlin news.
Ukraine grew at 13 times the rate.
Clearly bombs and guns are the pathway to wealth.
Who needs things like roads, hospitals, consumer goods.
Russia using gold not cash the attacks by Ukraine on Russian defense manufacturing & assets paying big dividends, with manufacturing of long range weapons in Ukraine growing Russia is going down hard!
Micheal Clarke, I accuse you of lying. Russia has not announced a fifteen percent cut to its social programmes, please anyone who is not biased should go research and see the state of the Russian economy. It is not a war economy and Russia is a commodity giant so funding this conflict is not an issue. Russia has very low debt levels and a very budget deficit. None of Micheal predictions has manifested to be true.
