She's more likely to replace XL in the team where you only care about her pyro application than to powercreep either Bennet or XL completly. Also we had 3 pyro main dps in Fontaine and I don't think an Archon will be as restrictive in their buffs as to only boost ATK (compared to RES shred, ER, EM or DMG). If anything I actually think that' they're gonna make mavuika for the Neuv/Mualani/Navia/Kinich team and she's not gonna improve the national or Lyney/Arlecchino team as much as some ppl anticipate. I think it's more likely that Pyro MC end up as the Bennet alternative (maybe 3/4 of his ATK buff, no heal and less particle generation but no circle impact)
She would have to be better than one of kazuha/xilonen/furina for her to help neuvillette team, which is very unlikely to happen no matter what she does.

As per Jello Impact, Xilonen makes Neuvillette and Mualani teams top-top meta, high above any other teams in Genshin. So, I am probably convinced to try to create a new team :)
Jello is great for his takes and team testing,, but he gets his math from channels like this, Zajef, and TGS. I definitely enjoy what he does but I'd cite a TC before him

I also watch a lot of others, and no one stated it that clearly: Xilonen brings these two, Neuvi and Mua, to the heights where none other character can compete with them. More, Jello actually tests the teams out, and confirms if the team is viable or not, so referring to Jello Impact here is a kind of a proof that what I say is solid and that is the reason why my pulling stategy might change (I did not want to pull Neuvillette and Mualani before that.)

As long as you can guarantee xilonen in the first place Let's say it takes you all of the first half to pull xilonen and it takes you every single wish and your entire map is explored, no primos You still have second half, plus next update, which is a map expansion so atleast add 80 wishes there and then the 5.3 patch first half 5.1 second half+ 5.3 first half is 70-80 more wishes very very probably. And that's a guarantee But it's likely gonna be more than what I'm saying Plus, I know your entire map isn't 100. And also star glitter, if you're a 10 pull away from guaranteed mavuika, you use the star glitter no question
One biggest upside in using Sucrose over Kazuha is her burst buffing em works off field, so it is 100% uptime of huge em buff to Mualani whereas kazuha absorbing pyro with his burst buffs pyro dmg instead, so he is only able to buff hydro dmg with his skill only for 8 secs which runs out quite quickly in the rotation. Also Sucrose em buff is just more stats in an equilibrium, cuz with sag frags and the same amount of em stats in artifact, she is able to buff more than what kazuha buffs with his dmg bonus. Its about 40% dmg bonus vs 240 em. 40% dmg bonus is not even one goblet main stat while 240 em is way more than what you get with em sands or goblet which is 187 em. So yeah Sucrose is goated support for Mualani.

In Mualani team, after you absorb pyro with kazuha burst, you are never going to have hydro aura on the enemy again, so all he will do is swirl pyro off field to give pyro dmg bonus, so the only buff he can give to Mualani is 8 secs of hydro dmg bonus with his skill.

I'm using c0 xiangling too. And I will say that this is probably one of the less C4 dependent teams. Very often just 10 seconds of pyro application per rotation will be enough.

Assuming Mavuika can replace Xiangling and we move towards double Hydro, is Mona ever a good option over Candace? Mostly looking at not having to invest in a whole new character if I can help it.
pretty sure if your goal is fast clears Candace is still better because of her fast animations, but if you just want to play Mualani in a double hydro team Mona should work well assuming no vape steals from her skill
Yelan is also good(especially if you have elegy) only problem is pyro auro can't be maintained without xiangling's burst. So you have to use xl burst every rotation (yelan also helps with chasing the enemies)@@jamiekb9v
C0R1 Mualani and I'm around 250k-320k for shark bites, having number envy. She has (roughly) 41k HP, 87% CR, 213% CD, 117 EM. I pair with 300% ER Xiangling on EOSF, Xilonen, and then struggling between Sucrose (850 EM, 145% ER), Kazuha, Zhongli, Nahida (C0R1, 820 EM, 180% ER). This video is helpful to see how to use Sucrose, are there deeper guides to explain the rotations? I get lost with the swirls, VV uptime, etc. Also I thought Nahida with her burst could make here a competitive flex option to pair with Mualani? I know I'm in the "many players" category haha. But I'm at least a longtime, 36 star abyss and aware of the TCG communities type of player. :)
hi, ive got a few other mualani videos you could peruse and see if theres any extra knowledge worth taking. you could change your xiangling set for even more damage. and no, nahida offers to little for her field time to be worth it. sucrose is much stronger.
Even as a more casual player with only a decent mualani, I find the sucrose xilonen xiangling team to be a significant fun improvement over every other mualani team. The setups are relatively easy and I get to see the boss healthbar go 40% yellow with one attack My mualani is only 33k hp, 48cr 212cd with r5 widsith with talent lvls 8 and 5 for skill and burst. I easily cleared top half of the new abyss with one rotation per wave, and only like 5 quick retries on the first chamber in order not get attack on widsith for the first consecrated beast and not miss a crit for the second
i don't know if i'm building her wrong (as my stats are close to his if he didn't used her signature), but running her at Natlan craftable R5 does 500k at best on my account (i didn't tried instructor set on XL, but seens interesting so i will try later), i know her signature is busted, but is that large of difference to double the damage on 12-3-1?

What is better, furina c2 or kazuha c2? For furina i've been trying to set heal pet to avoid stealing vapes, but not sure if kazuha setup its just simpler and worth it
She's one of the most clunky unit in the game but when everything aligns, she is arguably the best dps in the game. Depends on how much you wanna reset.

it kinda offsets with the damage you get from Xiangling but that being sustained rather than a big nuke you obviously lose more time with her on emblem. As long as you get your vapes and maybe have Xiangling on an atk sands you should be alright assuming you have enough er to burst every rotation
I admit I hate swirling, so I definitely pick Candace. So I guess I'll try Petra sets on Xiangling to upgrade my Mualani team. My Xiangling use random sets rn just to have 245+ ER 😂😂😂.
The only requirements for xiangling is to get 2 peice emblem with crit mask and er sans. 235-250 for single guoba and around 210-230 for double guoba setups. If you can manage to fit double guoba xianglign can use instructor which is insane.
I think for casual player c0r0 even if mualani are better, arlecchino she "more" easy to use than mualani, but with scaling mualani c1r1 Can outclear arlecchino c6r1, so yeah mualani have def the best C1 ever

funny enough in your last video you mainly user Kazuha + Kachina, and i thought that Sucrose was way easier to play with Kachina, and now that Xilonen released, the video is mainly using Sucrose + Xilonen, and here i am thinking that Kazuha is way easier to play with Xilonen lol Not that make that changing them make the team unplayable, they're both really good
My Mualani doesn't hit remotely as hard. I don't have her signature, and I use Kachina instead of Xilonen. Does that really make the difference between 400k and 800k dmg? :o
I know she's strong but I don't like her play style, having to ride an unstable and unpredictable shark to attack. Give me a straightforward character where I know where I am relative to enemies and can find target easily and hit.
Unpredictable where? You get to control when you do the shark attack cause it only appears at max stacks. Instability very rarely occurs, and only happens due to the current problem with auto targeting system and not just a Mualani problem alone.

Her stack generation is also reliant on boss movement, her teams get screwed by arua manipulation and missing a single vape can make you need to do another rotation and lose 27% of your total damage. Along with that you often overkill an enemy who has 50k hp with a 400k nuke and if you run furina her vape consistency is extremely bad.

C0R1 Mualani and I'm around 250k-320k for shark bites, having number envy. She has (roughly) 41k HP, 87% CR, 213% CD, 117 EM. I pair with 300% ER Xiangling on EOSF, Xilonen, and then struggling between Sucrose (850 EM, 145% ER), Kazuha, Zhongli, Nahida (C0R1, 820 EM, 180% ER). This video is helpful to see how to use Sucrose, are there deeper guides to explain the rotations? I get lost with the swirls, VV uptime, etc. Also I thought Nahida with her burst could make here a competitive flex option to pair with Mualani?
I know I'm in the "many players" category haha. But I'm at least a longtime, 36 star abyss and aware of the TCG communities type of player. :)
hi, ive got a few other mualani videos you could peruse and see if theres any extra knowledge worth taking. you could change your xiangling set for even more damage. and no, nahida offers to little for her field time to be worth it. sucrose is much stronger.

Even as a more casual player with only a decent mualani, I find the sucrose xilonen xiangling team to be a significant fun improvement over every other mualani team. The setups are relatively easy and I get to see the boss healthbar go 40% yellow with one attack
My mualani is only 33k hp, 48cr 212cd with r5 widsith with talent lvls 8 and 5 for skill and burst. I easily cleared top half of the new abyss with one rotation per wave, and only like 5 quick retries on the first chamber in order not get attack on widsith for the first consecrated beast and not miss a crit for the second

i don't know if i'm building her wrong (as my stats are close to his if he didn't used her signature), but running her at Natlan craftable R5 does 500k at best on my account (i didn't tried instructor set on XL, but seens interesting so i will try later), i know her signature is busted, but is that large of difference to double the damage on 12-3-1?
try going em sands and get Xiangling on instructor, the weapon gives you a lot of hp already so you might get better results with more em
On top of sig and instructor, he also had 2 hp cards and a NA card, both which increase damadge a lot by final chamber
i'd recommend the widsith over the craftable if you have it? it does a lot more damage. and support artifact buffs do make a difference yes

@@jamiekb9v i tried Widsith + XL on instructor + Sucrose and got 680k bite at the best, and consistentely got 480 ~ 500k, it was a really good improvement
are you resetting for widsith EM buff everytime? if you didn't have widsith EM, would kazuha's bigger buff outweigh sucrose's short animations?

What is better, furina c2 or kazuha c2? For furina i've been trying to set heal pet to avoid stealing vapes, but not sure if kazuha setup its just simpler and worth it
Furina C2 is one of if not the best Cons in the game so yeah
Kazuaha c2 actually sucks for the amount of pulls it needs to get, if you want Em just use sucrose or instructors artifact set instead

She's one of the most clunky unit in the game but when everything aligns, she is arguably the best dps in the game. Depends on how much you wanna reset.

it kinda offsets with the damage you get from Xiangling but that being sustained rather than a big nuke you obviously lose more time with her on emblem. As long as you get your vapes and maybe have Xiangling on an atk sands you should be alright assuming you have enough er to burst every rotation
i'd recommend using the new 5.1 artifact set memory filter and changing builds. its a lot faster now
I admit I hate swirling, so I definitely pick Candace. So I guess I'll try Petra sets on Xiangling to upgrade my Mualani team. My Xiangling use random sets rn just to have 245+ ER 😂😂😂.
The only requirements for xiangling is to get 2 peice emblem with crit mask and er sans. 235-250 for single guoba and around 210-230 for double guoba setups. If you can manage to fit double guoba xianglign can use instructor which is insane.

I think for casual player c0r0 even if mualani are better, arlecchino she "more" easy to use than mualani, but with scaling mualani c1r1 Can outclear arlecchino c6r1, so yeah mualani have def the best C1 ever

candace is arguably better than all of them but it depends if you have the resin to level her up

My Mualani doesn't hit remotely as hard. I don't have her signature, and I use Kachina instead of Xilonen. Does that really make the difference between 400k and 800k dmg? :o

I know she's strong but I don't like her play style, having to ride an unstable and unpredictable shark to attack.
Give me a straightforward character where I know where I am relative to enemies and can find target easily and hit.
Unpredictable where? You get to control when you do the shark attack cause it only appears at max stacks. Instability very rarely occurs, and only happens due to the current problem with auto targeting system and not just a Mualani problem alone.

@@lehang5840 Unpredictable because, her AOE is very limited by enemy positioning. Her stack generation is also reliant on boss movement, her teams get screwed by arua manipulation and missing a single vape can make you need to do another rotation and lose 27% of your total damage. Along with that you often overkill an enemy who has 50k hp with a 400k nuke and if you run furina her vape consistency is extremely bad.

I loved her day1, and After planty of nerf she get during the beta i still pulled for her and she was predicted as a "good/ok dps" and its kinda funny now she like maybe top 1 dps monocible rn, and have a good multicible
I didn't like her on release due to the clunk but now that they fixed her targetting somewhat, she feels smoother to play now and I'm actually considering her for a rerun if I have any spare pulls

Even now, Mualani hasn't released her full potential, hier passive requires a maximum of 3 Natlan characters and then there are clowns who keep degrading Mualani by saying "she got this buff, she got that buff."
