On the Email client settings. Change the (SMTP port # to 465.) Not 25 or the TSL # Change the TSL option to the (SSL port 465 option) This is how I was able to send email and text alerts. This will no longer work with Google after May 30th 2022, 3rd party apps using remote sign in for google will only work under 2 step authentication. How could this work with an outlook or other similar email account?
Hi Terex Rock Hill, You can still use Google after May 30th by enabling 2 step authentication and then making an App Password. Here is a video showing the process: th-cam.com/users/shortsr9WxLTNDz24 This works well with the C-More HMI. Regards, Garry
RTE-042 Send E-mail Error %Address% This may be the result of incorrectly entering the send-to email address in the Address Book database, or incorrectly entering the Sent-from email address in the Email Client tab of Panel Settings. The log on Information (account or password) on that tab may be incorrect. The email server may be blocking the Send-from email address or the C-more IP address. Hi 3512 genset, There could be several different reasons why you cannot get it to work. Do you have any error codes that show up? If so then what are they? Have you enabled less secure apps on the Google Gmail account? support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en This would probably be the main reason I come across. I hope this helps you out. I've tried getting this to work many times with different emails and continue to get the RTE-042 error. Any suggestions?
THE SCREEN CANT SEND THE Email yes there is an code rtn432 or something like that
