I've been playing more than 3 years and my first heavy tank crew still is learning in the tier VI tank. The commander is an Austrian (after 1938, part of the 3rd Reich) called herr Schwarzenegger. So, this crew has just a few months and very few battles of experience. I would play more with it. But, you know, WG and its marathons and events and happennings and all that things... No time to grind the German heavies.
i think most people who were tank enthusiasts grinded the German line first just to get the tiger. i had the same experience thought the tiger was gana be a dominating tank. boy was i wrong getting killed and not even seeing anything to shoot at. I have since moved on from the Tiger l to a Tiger 131 a tier 6 tiger. Also that movie with Keffer Sutherland and Clint Eastwood that featured a tiger as well was Kelly's Hero's great movie.
I keep my Tiger 1, marked it fairly easily, play it like a support heavy low tier and more aggressive high tier. Very fun to play, and it's the iconic WW2 tank ! need to bring it out again ! 👍

Snapping is not german doctrin. If I remember correctly it's called a Schießhalt, as the Tiger was lacking stabs you'd hold, take aim and fire. So far the first round was an accurate representation of strats. 😅
I had more success with the Tiger P. The problem I experienced with Tigers is module damage, particularly the ammo rack. I was surprised to see two games and the ammo rack wasn't hit at all. That is unusual in my experience. A good support tank, but a shell magnet in a front line brawl.
Yeah my tigers get ammo racked like every 2 or 3 times I get hit, and most likely in 2 of those other 3 shots a diff module is hit or crew killed. Almost a guarantee
That was funny, more Tiger games, please :) Added note this is the line I had started on, tried to make the tiger work in my effort but I was stubborn and would not quit. 6 skilled my crew then moved it them to E75. I move my crew from vk up to the T1 5skill crew. T1 and the E75 have the same crew arrangement. I just retired so maybe another sub for a year. My colour dark red from my efforts haha, thank you for the tips I'll try it out.

A german tank platoon commander want to train his Tiger crews using a captured T-34-85 using russian prisoners, aka. the 1941 crew in a cat an mouse war game. No ammo and little fuel. But the old T-34-85 crew in it is lying dead on 6 rounds. So they destroy one Tiger and escape the training area driving east. Early next morning they clash with 5 hidden Tigers in a german village. Great close quarter tank shooting follows. It's like watching Fury with russian bias aka. propaganda. Another similar movie is White Tiger with an unseen ghost Tiger.
Perhaps try Warthunder. Tiger and Panther on that are actually realistic and have armor. I think you would like Warthunder Claus, perhaps something you could do a video on?
PPL liked almost all new maps... and we have these 30 maps from what it seems like only 5 in rotation for a week. I play like 50 games that are Himmelsdorf, Mines, Ghost town and Paris. :(
The reason I signed up at WoT start up was the Tiger 1, for a while it was enjoyable and then the bias kicked in, sad end for a terrific tank. Instead of all the bullshit "money scamming missions" how about WG makes a game mode that has historically accurate time frames where only tanks of those years can join the battle?
This players knows how to use this Tiger, well done! I love the gun on this one, it's quite good and the same on King Tiger and E75. By the way "Assault" is Optional.
New players expect to be able to waltz across the map with impunity in a Tiger because they've watched too much History Channel, and then find out they're being matched against tanks that in the real world were specifically designed to kill Tigers
Germans are very meticulous so even a SNAP shot must be executed perfectly according to the procedure and corresponding regulations. They wouldn't probably say "SNAP" rather "Hüfteunerwarteterschnellerschuss" or something even more complicated 🤣🤣🤣🤣
A well trained crew wich can handle a fast "Hüfteunerwarteterschnellerschuss"-Manouever will find some time to yell SNAP while having themselves some CurryBoulette with french fries ketchup & mayo, also called PommesBahnschranke.
I think the poor old Tiger series all the way up to the Jagtiger exemplifies the Russian bias, we know that for real no allies tank or TD could penetrate a Jagtiger frontal armour during WW2. Not quite the same in the magical world of WG, as Claus said the Sherman effectively had to attack the Tiger 1 from behind, certainly within 400 mtrs, whereas the Tiger could easily pop one open at over 1k and yet...Yuri insists on balance! It's time WG (and this would get them out of the ever increasing power creep) provide games by decade, this would give the old favourites a fighting chance.
7:45 >t6 and t5 oddly enough, those are historically accurate opponents for the tiger. These IS and other space age tanks they routinely fight were designed to counter the tiger. Go figure

I've always been a Tiger (P) guy, but I have no reason for it. It has good armor, but you really need to enjoy the lack of speed and the 0.8 second longer reload. Here' I am giggling in my office at the IQ jokes. I'm such a kid.

Only in World of Tanks the Tiger l is a paper tank, It is worth clarifying that battles like this do not happen very often, usually a Tiger l enters battles against tier 8 or 9, a tank that inflicted terror throughout WW2, rated as one of the best tanks in history, Wargaming comes and does the stupid thing he did, only Russian tanks are well, obviously only in World of Tanks, because in real life they are proving to be a disaster. GG Wargaming.
The tiger 1 looks absolutely amazing, though i know that in game it is pretty much jackshit to play. Not because of the characteristics, which are pretty mediocre for a heavy tank, but purely because you'll see tier 9s most of the time anyways
I always wonder and laugh when people turn their tanks side ways or backwards to an enemy tank exposing the weakest parts of the tank and sit there trying to shoot the enemy! Don't people know the armor is on the FRONT of your tanks ! LOL !
Nice games and a pleasure to see the Russian tanks played by noobs . I only played light tanks on this map in this mode and I have almost 80% win rate on the attacking side and lost only once defending , that means the map is made for the best light tank to win if teammates are in good position for shooting .
Tigers can very ez deal with 10 - t34's no problem Tiger driver yes but there was always 11 t-34's (but not in wot) a t34 can deal with 3 or 4 tigers no problem

Those choke points on the second map are nasty. It's almost impossible not to expose your lower hull getting into position.

I played Tiger 1 then Tiger P and the 1 was the much better Tank. The Japanese paper Tiger just is not the same as either.
