Correct, the processor is soldered. You can upgrade by swapping the entire motherboard, but the best one is still just Pentium 987.

I found a motherboard with an i3 processor on Aliexpress but I dont know enough about computers to feel confident that it'll work OR attempt to replace a motherboard without messing things up. @@SerGreeny

I cleaned the laptop and changed the heat transition compound and still the laptop at 70-80 degree by just watching videos. Is it normal? I use the same AO756.
