Kingpin is to Spider-Man what Lex Luthor is to Superman. The mastermind villain usually protected behind laws and politics because they're very good at hiding their illegal shennagins. You have to outthink them not out muscle them (though in this fight Spidey ended up doing both). Very tricky to truly defeat.

I was frustrated at first, seeing Kingpin treated like a tutorial-boss. Then I saw the grand scope of things, and suddenly everything came into focus. Props to Insomniac, they really hit it out of the park with this one.
I just realized how Daredevil's hits are puny compared to when Kingpin takes some blows from Spidey, who has to hold back from completely knocking his head off.
Chris Cannon the thing that daredevil has that is superior is his senses, also known as his radar sense. Stan lee confirmed that radar sense is more powerful than spidey sense.
Jean Baptiste He does not want to risk killing him. Spider-Man can lift 10 tons, if he does not pull his punches he would crush Kingpin's head. In fact there is a what if comic where MJ died and Spider-Man let go of his morale and killed Kingpin with one hit to the heart.
Actually, there's a bunch of feats that places him well above the 10 ton limit, such as holding up a private jet that was about to crash, lifting a locomotive, casually lifting a tank, etc. Well comic Spidey anyway.

The Kingpin is one of my favorite supervillains, perhaps in part due to I do have a tendency to prefer the more "lawful evil" type villains. It's kind of funny how the Kingpin says how everyone is going to miss him while he's in prison, and in a sense, he was right. The crap really hit the fan in the time after his incarceration. Even other characters are like "he at least kept a leash on a lot of the criminals in the city". At one point in the game Spider-Man even makes remarks implying/indicating part of him actually misses Fisk being in charge and how "he at least loved the city". Say what you will about the Kingpin, he's evil, he's a supervillain, and not a good person....but he did maintain a fair amount of control over the criminals in the city. It's kind of funny that even the Punisher realizes that. I remember reading once that's one of the reasons he doesn't really go after Fisk directly more. Fisk has so much power and control in the criminal underworld, that without him as the focal point, so to speak, his absence would create a such a large power vacuum, it would create more problems than it's worth. Something like that even starts to happen in Daredevil S2. As soon as he's in prison, organized crime groups start making plans to take over themselves.
Goes to show how badass kingpin is, all them crime lords in new york like tombstone (who's skin is unbreakable btw) hammerhead, mister negative and organisations like the maggia and he's at the top he either works with many of the crime lords mentioned or has enough power to keep them all at bay no one dares to go against him even martin li waitef until fisk wad in jail before making his move.
Cooperations with Fisk is the only effective strategy. You cannot eradicate crime, so better have order in the underground and control the trouble than anarchy.

Striver of Strength & Beyond if you listen to some of the backpack collectibles and some of the narration over the fisk exhibit during the museum mission, you hear about how Fisk on at least 2 occasions nearly killed peter.
wateflow in one of the backpack collectibles there’s a pair of brass knuckles that peter narrates that kingping beat the hell out of him with. Then in the first MJ mission, if you examine the samurai sword in the exhibit, she talks about this time kingpin actually gutted peter with it and he managed to get back to her house and collapsed in her yard
I just love how kingpin was right when he said (in one month you wish you have me back) because later in the game when shit hits the fan with the "Devil's Breath" situation it made kingpin look like a angel comparing to how much damage osborn cause the city along with the sinisters villains.

Considering Kingpin in the comics is also a powerful Juggernaut despite being a regular human, it's safe to say he's just that badass
When the character was created Stan Lee said that the kingpin was equal in strength to spiderman, so this kingpin is probably based on that version.
He's a comic book character, comics are about titans so I wouldn't worry.
He's actually 450 Ibs of muscle which is confirmed in his bio, being 450 Ibs of SOLID MUSCLE with only 2% bodyfat would make anyone insanely strong.

This is how strong Kingpin was in the comics, the reason a lot of people think he is not as strong is because Frank Millar wanted to revamp Daredevil, and make Kingpin one of his villains, also he had to tone down his strength. So a lot people keep thinking Frank Millar Daredevil Kingpin and not Jack Kirby and Stan Lee Spider-man Kingpin
