kyungsoo is by ease one of the best vocalists to ever grace the industry. ever since his debut as an exo member back in 2012 he has been an attractive, eye-catching vocalist, unfortunatly for many years he has been limitied to the group's songs and had'nt got many opportunities to showcase who he is a singer of his own. he released his first mini solo album in 2021 "empathy" and this year on sept 18th he released his second mini "expectation", both masterpieces. his appearance in "The seasons" is his first ever tv appearance as a solo singer and as a long-time fan I'm so happy to see people discovering how charming and talented he is, it almost brought me to tears seeing him evolve and bloom to become the artists he is right now. please if you ever plan to watch more of him on your channel do so, I loved your commentary on both this and the "rewrite the stars" video ❤❤

This is a song that Lee Chanhyuk wrote for IU Back in 2014. I think he was about 17 or 18. When she sang it during an AKMU concert, it became hers. She didn't know that and never released it. During the show IU's Palette, they talked about the song and she officially gave the song to Suhyun. She released as a b side from their latest single Love Lee.

D.O. vocal tone is very rare in kpop.. and i really love his vocal tone so much that made me who were an anti to kpop idol group (until now tbh) fall for him and his group EXO. He made every song he sing be his song with his vocal tone and the way he sing. I didn't like some western artist song but when he cover it i'll be addicted to his cover. Its the same with korean song he covered, he made me like the his cover version more than the original singer eventho the original is reallt good too.
And its not only him.. when EXO make a cover of other song.. they made the song be their song and made me like their version more...
EXO really are not other kpop idol group. They are a bunch of multitalented artis that have amazing vocal with each own colour but when they do a song together, they make a beautiful rainbow.. you won't be regretted if you dive deeper into Kyungsoo and EXO with their excellent vocalist, rapper and dancer. Thanks for reacting to this. If you like music that makes you feel good/comforted or makes you want to fall in love then you are definitely going to love D.O. aka kyungsoo's music. And since you liked his falsetto I think you will like the song 'my love' from his first mini album 'empathy'. As for pronunciation, he is kinda known for having good pronunciation even in languages he doesn't speak. He even has a spanish song in empathy called 'si fueras mia', along with an english version of his title track 'rose'. He recently dropped his 2nd mini album 'expectation' and performed the title track 'somebody' in this show. he also performed his first solo song 'That's Okay' here, which is like the ultimate comfort song for many including his fans. I hope you check out his music even if you don't react to it.
