Simple and to the point review. I am doubtful they will surpass the Spark lineup this year, but if Seadoo doesn't step up I can see this being the go to fun lake toy for the kids.
@GreenHulkGarage I think the spark has the known name, but as more people see the jet blaster on the lake and ask "what's that?" I can see the jetblaster rocketing past the spark in 2026.
awesome video! thanks for the comparison and notes. yami finally going in the right direction for us small watercraft enthusiasts. as always, there's going to be gripes with "rip-off of spark" and "why didn't the 1.9 get installed" but overall this is the right move for yamaha. we're almost where we want them to be.
@@GreenHulkGarage Why do you like 25 more,. Just curious sine we use are 24 jet blaster to tow and double lots and enjoy the deck on the back for older and young to get up on. But i also enjoy how fun its is to rip around on. So just not used for tricks. Thanks
Narrow is fun, but very unstable. Most of the riders nowadays are looking for a more stable craft. I would love a resurrection of the original blaster, but I doubt it will every happen.
@@GreenHulkGarage interesting they seem to be getting away from it, I consider that a move in the right direction. Weight makes a big difference but living with it I think the traditional fiberglass is much easier and worry free comparatively
Man remember all those videos for years of Yamhaw bashing(literally) the Spark because it was “plastic”….. Guess if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. It’s still too heavy and holds way more fuel than it needs way up in the nose which is exactly where you don’t won’t weight when stuntin. Maybe a ski that is actually directly aimed at the Spark will make Sea Doo finally give us the hot rod Spark we been wanting since 2014.
The entire mid section of the deck is able to be removed. By mid section, I mean the seat base and footwell portion of the entire top deck. This was not shown on video. You will undoubtedly have more engine access with this portion of the deck removed than any other Waverunner.
I have a 22 Blaster and thinking of upgrading to this one.
It’s worth the upgrade.

The Jetblaster definitely has the potential to sell better than the Spark.

Great review Greg! From what you’re saying and after watching your video it must be a blast to ride. Thanks for sharing
It is a fun ski!

I have to say, I am impressed with this ski. I was initially disappointed when it was released, but riding it changed my mind!
Time to sell your spark and get you another blaster huh? 😂
@@jeffbryner5355 very possible! I'll get on one from Yamaha first and see what it feels like.
@@WeTryMotorsports can't wait for the comparison video haha
Thats looks sick!
Good review Greg, they look like a lot of fun.
Thanks! They are a ton of fun.
Hey whatever happened to that 2008 RXPX 255 you had to replace the flywheel on? I’m excited to see more FuelTech stuff on that
It’s just sitting collecting dust, along with my four other skis. I have been so busy with customer’s skis that I haven’t worked on my own in a while.
Do you prefer the 25 Pro or the 22-24 jetblaster?
Definitely the new ‘25.

Great review Greg! Coming in with the honest review of the Jet Blaster! Appreciate you brother for keeping us up to date!
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
Very nice!
You're rubbing it in Kevin's face that you got to ride one and he didn't right? 😂😂😂
I’m sure Kevin will get a chance to ride one sooner than later.
@@GreenHulkGarage oh I'm sure he will.
What model would you recommend renting?
For renting, I’d get the DLX. The base does not have reverse which could be an issue for an inexperienced renter.
I wish they wouldn't have made it even wider. I always liked the narrower WB1 feel.

I just put a deposit down on the pro 2up. What's Green Hulks plans for up grades? . Lol. Let's void warranty's.
I will be buying my first Yamaha. Seadoo completely disappointed me . Bought my first sp in 89 and had several since then .
You can’t go wrong with a Yamaha!
Painted hull like the FX series?
Yes! Yamaha paints their hulls
Yamaspark I like it!!
So this doesn’t use the awful nano hull material?
No sir! It’s fiberglass 👍

Hopefully, this will create an intense competition and we will have more powerful versions of both.
This ski has more engine access? Yeah right. To small holes. Fx is easy to get anywhere in the engine 😂🤷♂️

He’s comparing it to the Spark without knocking the Spark..
That’s the goal 👍
@@GreenHulkGarage more work tho, i just want to remove seat, get to oil filter, unscrew it & put a new one in.
@@seadoo4life127 yamaha still behind with other models. Seadoo has way more options & faster.
Cheesy name.
