£25k is a decent wage. Half of all households in the UK make less than £29.9k in total income. A couple each making £25k are pretty well off comparatively.

I meant that a large portion of British people will never earn that much in a single year. As a guy who’s just left uni in Newcastle, I can wholeheartedly say that’s very out of character for Geordies. They’re the loveliest group of people I’ve ever met which is why I’ve chosen to stay here post graduation!
