First of all, it was fun seeing you on Dan's "Part 2" of "Captain Bible," this past week. I'm hoping he'll follow through with Part 3! ð

Tommy, singing, "You Raise Me Up." OH YEAH!!! I remember the first time I heard him sing that. Right now, that memory makes me cry, BECAUSE...when I heard it, back then, I could no longer hit those notes, after almost all my life being ABLE to...from the time I was just tiny! Watching you listening to him, while I'm listening to him, tonight...HUGO! I was able to hit EVERY...SINGLE...NOTE!!! Now I'm working on NOT crying, through the second half of the stream. I don't know who requested that song (the chat won't display), but I will be forever grateful to THAT person, AND to you, for playing it. THANK YOU!!!
"Carry Me Over" ... I love that one, and it was, I think, one of Dan's best transitional songs. I'm glad someone requested that one.
I didn't think I'd like he EdGuy one, but I did.
As for Kings of Metal...You already know...I LOVE IT!!! ð
I didn't know you were going to add in Sunday again. This particular Sunday (yesterday, for me, here, now)...I slept the entire day, basically, and didn't even get online until after midnight (right now, here, it's 4:26 AM on Monday morning, 08/26/2024)...so...missed you again, I guess. Ah well...I'll try to "get with it" the next time. Will probably (hopefully) catch sight of you, later, on Super Vasc 3D on Dan's next live stream there. I haven't gotten any notifications about that, so I don't know whether or not he's going on with the Captain Bible game or not. I hope so!

It's great to hear from you! I'm glad you caught some of the recent streams and enjoyed the songs, especially Tommy's rendition of "You Raise Me Up"-how amazing that you were able to hit all those notes again! It sounds like a truly special moment.
I'll definitely keep an eye out for Dan's next stream too. Hopefully, weâll get that Part 3 of "Captain Bible" soon! As for the Sunday streams, no worries-thereâs always next time, and I appreciate you trying to join in.
I originally was going to just watch the first hour that I'd missed, but I ended up rewatching the entire livestream. ð Loved your intro, Hugo. ð Congratulations on your promotion, btw. ð It's always good to hear about positive things for good people.ð I hadn't heard a few of Tommy's songs. He did an amazing job on all. You Raise Me Up & Hallelujah were probably my favorites, but the folk songs were great, as well.
As for Dan, that goes w/o saying. Lol. Thanks so much for playing my request of Carry Me Over. I was in a noisy store & didn't hear you mention you were going to play it until right when you started it, so I tried to find a place where I could hear it better. IMHO, just like Exceptional, that one should have more views & likes than it does, and it's become one of my very favorite covers by Dan. I pulled up the original to compare it, but I prefer Dan's version... big surprise there.
I'm bummed out that I missed you playing 2 Cellos "Thunderstruck." At least you left in the pre- & post- comments, though. I love those guys. My sister actually saw them live in concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado on a surprise trip with a friend who wouldn't tell her where they were going. Mind you, they traveled by car from Corpus Christi, TX up there to see them, which is about 12-14 hrs driving nonstop. She said they were awesome in concert. There are videos on TH-cam of entire concerts that you can chk out. One of the guys (Hauser) is still performing & has even done work with Andrea Bocelli.
