    Love the vibe of these guys. A sound of the future embedded with echos of the past.

      It's been 5 years, but I thought I'd tell you his name is Tim Presley.

    If I’m not mistaken that’s Nick Murray on drums! Loved his work on “Mutilator Defeated at Last”!

      And “Memory of a Cut Off Head”! He’s one of my favorite drummers period! Also played on Cate Le Bon’s brilliant “Mug Museum”. The beats on “Sister”, “I Can’t Help You” and “Are You With Me Now?” are some of his best IMO.

    Thanks for share this vid, Presley is an awesome musician... I do wonder what the hell could be the infinite-sustain fuzz pedal he`s using on solo parts...

    T.P. needs a huge Mark E. Smith themed western belt buckle.

    Can't tell if the Fender he's playing is a Jaguar or a Jazz Master being it has both a humbucker pickup and a single coil pickup. Maybe it's both...a hybrid.

      +james geiger none of the jazzmaster and jaguar sports humbuckers, they both have single coil pickups, unless it's some kind of kurt cobain/blacktop/standar HH or some bullshit like that. Lead singer's guitar is a jazzmaster that he modified, putting a jaguar single coil in the neck and some gibson-style humbucker in the bridge

      It's a Jazzmaster with a Jag pickup in the neck and a humbuggie in the bridge ;P

    why is his guitar strap so high? If keith richards saw this he flipp a shit

    • @andrewwabik5125
      @andrewwabik5125 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      That's how people used to wear it in the 50s and 60s. Most guitarists lowered it to look cooler, but the plus to having it strapped higher is that it makes it way easier to maneuver your fret hand around the neck of the guitar. I've seen some of the early rock and roll guitarists basically have it up near their neck. It's a comfort thing. For Tim, I think he's more focused on the sound then looking cool. But he's pretty damn cool, regardless.
