Selling on Amazon is a must for yall based on the amount of sets you are investing in. Selling only on Ebay is like investing with your uncle because you know him. It really is pretty easy to get plugged in. Great Video. Need to come back annually to critique performance!

When I 1st saw the Haunted house I had to have 1. But the desire for the set seems to drop off when I comes to investing in this set. I adore mine. Bought the baron and use it for all the Evil doers. Lol.
Speaking of Episode I sets... we need a Naboo Royal Starship for crying out loud! Or a Duel of the Fates Diorama... I know that perhaps a Kashyyk based diorama for DG might change his mind if it's done tastefully.
That tranquil set.... I'm seriously trying hard to not use some budget on getting it for myself.. I've seen it with lights, and WOW...... this all together with being a weeb, soooo hard to resist! (I know it hasn't just released, so why don't I have it already, but I've only returned to Lego a week or two back, after a 35yr absence!)
I would be mindful that the kylo ren micro has a unique and valuable fig compared to boba and the boba mech fig also is arguably a better version of the fig that’s available
A good point! The Micro Clone Turbo Tank also contains a valuable and unique clone trooper design. Maybe the reappearance of plain P2 clones in 2024 will change this?
@@DGBricksYT I went monkey mode during the first event not knowing about retirement dates or anything. I bought everything Disney on 2 separate accounts just to get to the 100€ mark “knowing” that thing would eventually sell for 50€ especially if it ran out of stock. I was 100% correct only on the wrong continent
I got sick of speed champions mostly because the stickers are tedious to deal with. If they could raise the prices and use good opaque prints I would be more interested.
It's great other than the fact it's uggggglly 🤣 It looks like it ran its head into the wall, flattened its face in and shortened up the body. The real vehicle looks like it could lunge at you in a moments notice...the Lego version looks like it just woke up from a nap. With that said I still want one for my collection 😂 And assuming it doesn't have too long of a shelf life and we can get it on great discount, I think it will do well in retirement
Idk what this guy is smoking but the AT-TE is a hot set and will be a hot investment once it retires. Just hope it doesn't last 4 years like the outgoing $160 AT-AT
You always talk about "I don't like the set. Not looking good". How is this investing, if you only buy what fits YOUR taste? Makes no sense. You have to buy even kids sets that look ugly, if the data is good.
It seems to me there are two extreme approaches: to invest entirely based on data or to invest entirely based on emotional attachment to sets. I lean toward data-based decisions but I do let emotions creep in sometimes, ie "what if this set doesn't perform as I hope" or "My emotional intelligence is telling me this set may perform better than the data suggests." There's no right way to do any of this, and you're very much entitled to your own opinion.
Yeah, for me, I think there's more great sets to invest in than I have available cash for. Since investment cash is my limiter, I think I do better picking sets I personally have at least minimal interest in. I think I naturally become more knowledgeable about sets I personally desire, which helps me make better fact based decisions. And I make many videos on Lego reselling (DG does too). Sometimes I talk more data, sometimes less. I think the best assessment of our thoughts is the aggregate of many of our videos vice just this one podcast episode. Take care everyone!
