Knowledge sharing - The motor draws 292 kw of power and is 93 % efficienct , which means that 292-271= 21 kw heat is genrated by the motor and this heat energy is dissipated to the atmosphere. Also Hydraulic power at pump is 227 Kw , that means 271-227 Kw = 44 kw. Means of the 271 kw mechanical power suppilied by the pump only 227 kw is imparted to the fluid as mechanical energy. The remaining 44 kw heat energy will increase the water temp. Slightly and some amount of heat tranfered to pump casing then from pump casing to atmosphere.
Sir if in my plant discharge pressure is 135kg/cm² and BFP is of 15 stages.. Then what will be the rate of increase of pressure per stage... Will it ll be same??? Kindly help me with pressure increase rate graph per stages
