@@CoCoCo1212 ngl, I'm kinda surprised that Liz chose that name as I don't think Liz is weebs enough to use Chuuni name. Though, I don't watch her enough to know.
@@Yanasmiko Can't say about JP culture specifically, but ERB's pretty deep in nerd culture in general. It's a name someone like her would definitely use in forums back then.
Tbf, reading names in Kanji can be a crapshoot sometimes because people can use a kanji just for the sound and not the meaning or common reading. Not sure about Koseki in this case but I've seen it happen enough times irl when I worked in Japan that I don't blame her.
Kanji in names is a different animal. Even Japanese people sometimes have to tell the others how to read their name if it has unusual readings. If I’m a stranger and don’t know Biboo’s name, I’ll default to reading her name as “Furuishi Bijou”. Like how Subaru misread Tanigo as Yagoo
It is not like they didn't train though, they train a lot to be able to pull this off, it just that they are in sync so much that they know how to work together that is their best point from all this
Their hard work just paid off. Let's just give credit when it's due. It's just a Zero to Hero moment for them if you watch how they play at the start of their first practice stream. Everyday practice until the tourney day that I'm sure it's a time sink activity.
@@Renzu-ZG_The_Chattino_Sailor They are not smurfing. That implies they were already experts before the competition began. Did you even watch their practice stream? Their runs were not good from the start. Their goal was low and they just got better and better as time went on.

Miko: Elizabeth Rose Buradoufuraimu 🤣🤣
Miko: Kaela kovalskia and EH??🗿
We were blessed with Elite English when pronouncing names 🙏
Right, other jp mems can only dream of being this good at English..
Distance difference between 1st place and 2nd place is similar to 2nd place and 8th place.
Mikos pronunciation of Erbs full name is cute xD
that's a mouthful though
She definitely sauced up the Buradoufuraimu.
Miccomet chained together would be a treasure.
Miko sees Biboo name
Miko, "....... Hæh?"
Miko: why I am I spelling codependency in Engulishu?
Miko: Cecilia Immagurin
Ame's spelling bee avatars were such an amazing gift
The Grindstone : Framing 100 points
Akirose-Ayame : Framing 100000 nakirium
Miko pronouncing ERB's full name is such a chuuni lol
Well, ERB's full name *is* pretty chuuni, to be fair. Lol

@@taloscal I mean... There's a big difference between Elizabeth Rose (Smith/Brenda/Victoria) and E.R. Bloodflame. 😅😅
0:34 just like MiComet business Te-Te, right Miko?
It is nice to see that Miko's Eigo and Nihongo are getting more Jouzu. she still needs a bit more practice though based on these pair introductions.
best commentator ever 😂
One thing that I miss is the shenanigans they make during the waiting time.
2:05 I think she means kiss.

To be fair, Bibos's name in JP is confusing.

She is HoloEN 0, understandable to have difficulty with kanji
Ela + Bijou team is just cheating at this point. It's like CS pros coming in for amateur hour. And they had a MASSIVE ping handicap as well.
