- The Taiko-1 has a LOT of different sounds, which I'm sure a lot of you are interested in hearing. I'm covering about a third of them in this video, a range of "taiko"-y sounds, percussion sounds, and other sounds. If you want to hear more, let me know!

Thank you for the compliment! It's fun going through them all, but it's also somewhat like going for a walk in the woods - you stumble across some familiar things and some new things! I'm sure someone else down the road will point out things that even I missed, as well!

Hi Neil, I'm not sure what kind of use you're thinking about? You can create/upload your own sound library, with the four triggers per sound bank.

There's less than a handful that were sold on the first batch, so you're not wrong - they're going to be hard to get for a while! But keep checking with Asano Taiko U.S. and maybe other people will be able to sell as well. The more people that express interest, the more word will hopefully get back to Roland!

I recommend Asano Taiko U.S., but they are also available on Amazon and eBay. Buying it from Asano Taiko U.S. helps support the taiko community, as they are a very important vendor/school for taiko in North America!

Haha, noted! Although realistically, no one is going to use all 50. Some of them are niche, to be sure!
How much are they?
Don't quote me, but if I remember correctly, they run around $1,400 US.
